Do you ever wonder whether other fans are like us?

I’m probably being biased and I’m not downplaying other fans/clubs, but our journey makes us pretty unique and special doesn’t it?

The part BWFC plays in my life is far beyond rational and sometimes borderline obsessive 🤣

Christ, I’ve never been into narcotics, but I’m constantly feeling a mixed combination of highs, alertness, anxiety, eagerness, exhaustion, unable to sleep, neurotically checking/re-checking plans/tickets/trains while totally consumed with excitement!

Completing the IronMan has nothing on this 🤣.

Come on! Bring it on COYFWM 👏👏

My mates a city fan and he still is waiting for the whole shabang to go tits up in a way only city can manage.

Think all proper supporters who go week in week out regardless of the team they support have a mutual understanding of the ups and downs that go with being a football fan.

Armchair support and new fans of the 'big 6' not so much

To be fair to your mate, I can think of 115 reasons it could all go tits up!

As an aside, I'm also in the flip-flop-every-5-minutes camp of tomorrow either being like the PJT, or a crushing, horrible disappointment.

I’ve just been talking to a shop assistant in Bury who’s a Bolton fan. She’s going to Wembley. She’s dreading it and feels sick.

I told her to wait until she has had a hundred such days and just enjoy her first Wembley trip.

Managed to travel from Blackpool to Wigan in record time and catch the train an hour earlier than planned.

The last time we managed to do that was watching Leigh RL win at Wembley, so here’s hoping it’s a similar omen!

Then presumably you have seen the barrel being well and truly scraped.

Never trust a tapir.

Still confident, but feels like a pivotal point in our history. Win and it keeps the momentum, lose and it's another season in div 3 and things could tail off if we're not blowing the doors off.

Adds a level of nerves.

But still confident.

ish.

I think.
