BobyBrno Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Just seen the film of the players at Wembley today. With the fans already down there as well, I’ve decided to go to bed early and hope for tomorrow to come quickly.😊 #notlikechristmasatall Quote

Whatever suits in each situation. Can't really be judging folk either way. Agreed. Its my (elderly) mum's birthday tomorrow and there's a family gathering, some travelling from the midlands and others more locally. Me, my son, one of my brothers, nephew and step daughter will be at Wembley, it was never in doubt for me but I get that others would face more "persuasion" from family members who simply wouldn't get it. We often get visits from family on Saturday afternoons when BW are away and its a complete pain in the arse trying to explain why I'm not very sociable between 3 and 5pm. It must be a wierd concept for non football fans to grasp, and its impossible to explain if its not ingrained in you. Quote

BobyBrno Posted May 17 Posted May 17 It’s like people booking a wedding on Cup Final day. Used to cause a few arguments. Anyway, going or not, enjoy the day and hopefully 🙏🏻 the night. Goodnight. Quote

royal white Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Not sure if it’s because of what’s happened to the club over the last 7/8 years but I’m more nervous about this game than any other. I’ve not slept properly for days. Anyway what will be will be. COYFWM Quote

London Wanderer Posted May 17 Posted May 17 They’ve had a rollercoaster of a season, but they’re currently performing their best yet. Tougher than folk think this one. Quote

Site Supporter Spider Posted May 17 Site Supporter Posted May 17 I just can’t see us losing. Everything is tilted in our favour. Which is why I’m sat here picturing those Tory yellow cunts leaping around Wembley with a 3-0 lead at 90 minutes. Im fucking furious and it’s STILL not saturday Quote

I’d hazard a bet I’m the only White heading North not South. Going to make a day of it in front of the telly with my dad on his birthday. He’s had some serious health issues in recent years and it felt right to go for this option. He wanted me to go to Wembley for what it’s worth. Gutted not to be there, but feels the right decision. Plus the scenery is a million times better this way up 😉 Enjoy your big day and your tiny commute Quote

But he didn't want to let loads of folk down who had taken time off etc for his birthday bash. Obviously I wish he had fucked it off but nothing comes before family. I missed PJ final, too close to daughter #2 due date to risk it, saw it on TV but wasn't the same Missed Forest on last day because too soon after daughter #1 birth to piss off to the match and on a session leaving her to do it on her own all day, saw it on TV but not the same Which is why I can't fucking wait for tomorrow But I feel your anguish Quote

Waaay back in 1978 my brother had his wedding booked for the same day we played Spurs (or maybe Southampton) in a crucial top of the table clash, the bride & my brother aren’t football fans. It was an unusual time for the wedding - late morning like 11am ish. I did the wedding, did the meal, then fooked off to watch the Whites & missed the reception! We still have a laugh about it, but the bride & my brother never did quite ‘get it’ Quote
