See whether this works.

I’m in the he has to sort it out very quickly 5-10 games, just to see if he can get this squad gelling/firing

Correct

I might be wrong. But for the 50% fans who were on the fence and giving him more time, the majority now won’t be.

We can’t delay now. It’s the right time to make a change.

We do it now, we still have a good chance of promotion. Someone might be able to get a better tune of the crop we have and /or make the changes that are needed to get us winning not only the bread and butter games, but also these games where the opposition/oppositions manager out: think/fight/perform us.

We can’t delay - make a change Sharon

I've thought for a while now that as long as we remain in touching distance of the play-offs, Sharon in particular would back him

I'd really rather be wrong

Because cheese likes arguing on here. He’ll be gutted that Royal agrees.

Anyone still backing him is on wind up or bought a house on moron territory

Not in the slightest. I have no beef with Royal when it comes to BWFC. Not trying to start an argument either. I just don't wet my pants and spit my dummy out every time we lose a game. Yes, today was particularly shite, but we dicked Sunderland 6-0 the season they went up. These things happen in League One. I'll leave you chaps to post the same rants you were posting 8 weeks ago, before we went on a good run and you all turned shy again. Enjoy. 👍

Think Sunderland sacked the manager after we beat them.

To be fair I’ve not been shy in calling Evatt a nut sack. So it’s not up and down

I hope you do not include me in that

Fair play to you, @Krimzon @royal white, I’d much rather have this hope, belief and positivity, than Zog’s self acclaimed doom predictions and gloats.

I genuinely hope you are right. But I think I’m beyond believing now. With very good reason after extreme patience, tolerance and money and commitment following them across the country- think that’s my 6th away this season.

Interested to hear @gonzo and @Casino thoughts. Not to criticise or be argumentative with, but as posters who have backed Evatt up to this point. Do you still believe in him?

Even if we make the playoffs I've no confidence we'd turn up in the crunch game.

I was still in the Evatt in camp until 4.15 this afternoon. I like the guy, his sides have played some amazing football at times, crowds have been incredible, Wembley v Plymouth was one of the best days of my life.

On the flip side the arguments against him staying were stacking up. I thought he was one or two more bad results away from the crowd turning. A 1-0 loss to a good Stockport side wouldn't have counted. A 0-5 capitulation definitely does.

Dunno if that means I've wet my pants or am screeching in the eyes of some. I don't care tbh, I'm miserable enough this evening. As I say, I like the guy. I just hope he walks or gets sacked now, before it gets really vicious.

For balance I think he’s highly unlikeable. I’m starting to dislike our board for backing him

Me neither

Just as an aside , does it really matter if we like or dislike a manager as a person ? Owen Coyle was widely thought of as one of the most decent likeable people in football for example.

Correct. I think it’s worth flagging though as a few people have said they’ve liked him. Why? That’s on them. I think he’s a tit. I liked Coyle. Both need/ed to go

Sometimes he'll say something that makes me think again about a point.

But that can be both ways!

Some comments and decisions are baffling.

He can be "charming" but when things are going swimmingly, but when things aren't, a bit excuse ridden.

Don't mind anger neither, but stop directing it at refs, opposing players etc.

Simply don't want to dislike him, however he is infuriating at times.

Fair point.

Im not gonna criticise anyone that thinks Evatts time has run its course and we need a change . You/they could well be right and Im aware I could be completely wrong. I just think Evatt can do it , can be a success and get us promoted .

Injuries return , a more pragmatic approach to this division, finally shaking off the wembley hangover , for example and our best 11-13 can do it.   Im also aware of the comparisons with Phil Neal , so close and nearly .

TBH Most managers comments and reflections after a 5-0 defeat sound the same!

I think it’s time to go and after being there today, in their end, it was unbearable! 😩

So to say this is hard, but today he doesn’t sound as bad and defeatist as he did against Huddersfield. If there wasn’t such a pattern and if the defeat wasn’t so horrific I could almost swallow the illness theory. But I’m not having that today, it doesn’t wash I’m afraid.

I thought he should of gone after the first play off loss to Barnsley. All of this was easy to see.

Like 99% of managers.

End of the day, mans clearly an arrogant wanker and is a fucking shit manager.

Sharron needs to stop fucking around, sack him and we can all move on. We can still get promoted at this stage. He some how survived Oxford, got a stay of execution after Huddersfield but his time here is staler than 6 month old piece of blue cheese.

it’s a business decision, she needs to fuck off whatever strange loyalty she has and see what we all do. Unless of course she’s content with abject failure time and again

There have been so many red flags over the last couple of years, I can't honestly believe how much folk have bought into him.  The absolute unshakeable belief in 5 at the back, wing backs that can't defend and aren't that good going forward (since Bradley & Fossey), and rating Vic as a £1mil striker that we couldn't afford to lose, I don't know how its even got to this stage.  He could have gone with reputation relatively intact a long time ago, but he's going to struggle to get another L1 gig now.

My overriding feeling watching us get dry-bummed by a bang average Stockport today was apathy.

So - in fairness to the manager, and credit where it's due - I had a much less shit Saturday night than I should've had.

Every cloud and all that.

I’m beginning to think that if we don’t go up automatically we’re buggered. So we’re buggered.

I don’t think we (at the moment) have the balls to seriously compete in the playoffs.
