November 15, 20241 yr I loved my Raleigh Chopper, had the very rare space blue colour, wish I'd kept it now. Think my Mum gave it to some workman.

November 15, 20241 yr Original Mk1 & Mk2s are worth a lot of money, i saw a Mk3 outside a 2nd hand shop few years back, it didn't have the original long seat but i wondered if i could convert it , went in and offered £90 they weren't interested so i walked away.

November 15, 20241 yr Tremendous effort! Fair play to him. Such a cool bike in the 70s. Didn’t have one, but always wanted one. Do remember Grifters being big heavy fuckers though. Also Boxers and Strikers - think they were bikes of the day.
November 15, 20241 yr Plenty on here probably saw Paddy's first ever attempt at stand up comedy. He was awful. This has put him back in credit.

November 15, 20241 yr This place has gone to the dogs Local lad done good. Booooo!!!!!!!! Always wanted a Chopper. Dad was a road racer with Lancashire Clarion so not a chance I was getting one. First proper bike was a Falcon from a shop at Tramways in Astley Bridge I was the boring kid on a racer. Mate had the purple Chopper with the pink writing. He was one of those who had an ‘unfortunate’ accident. Other one had red one with yellow writing iirc. He lost his front teeth. I quite liked my boring bike after that
