Have they still not sold their allocation? Poor do if they don't manage that!

  • That was pathetic, abject, depressing, slow, inept, cowardly, and utterly humiliating. I'm one of the so-called "happy clappers", but it's clearly time for a refresh.

When a manager is under pressure and debate is raging about him there’s always A defining moment when everyone agrees it’s time to put an end to it. Today was that moment.   anything that comes

  • They simply have to pull the trigger now. A new manager coming in at this point has plenty of time and a decent amount of points on the board to build a promotion charge. We should be right

I thought Baxter was excellent last season. Far too good for the 3rd division. This year, I'm not so sure. He just hasn't looked half as confident.

Totally agree but for me  the defence is a shadow of what it was for the majority of last season , especially when it comes to aerial balls into the box .

A lot of words from Evatt today. Heard it all before and it means fuck all until they beat these turds

He did say one thing that's spot on. Regardless of how the game is going/if we go a goal down/if its goalless and Wigan are frustrating us - the fans have to stick with it in this game and keep up a strong atmosphere. Hard thing to do given the collective frustrations with the way things go sometimes but on Saturday it has got to be done. The pie men thrive on doubt and discord.

I dread to think of the atmosphere if we go a goal down early.

Last thing we need is the cunts with the Evatt Out banner getting that out just before kick off.

Without trying to be like cheese, do we have any evidence this is happening? It will be flat as a pancake like all early kick offs are. We don’t do toxic either.

It’s not but it helps Evatt does no wrong brigade to pretend it does.

main thing is show we can battle. We go down early and the crowd should be angry. It’s a derby and we need to win.

We went 1-0 v Blackpool and an Evatt out banner was produced. It was also turning pretty rapidly.

We go a goal down on Sat it will be horrendous.

There is also not one person I know who thinks Evatt can do no wrong.

There's plenty think he can't do any right mind..

Been a few occasions over the last few years that the crowd has been bang up for it from the start rather than purely responding to how the match has been going. Really need that again on Saturday, albeit I appreciate the early kick off doesn’t help with that.

I'm not sure I'd go with toxic but it was beginning to get a bit moody in the first half before we turned it round Tuesday last week

So not before the game then?

I think these people are getting a rough ride. They are cheering the team and backing. It is a myth that people are stood there wanting the team to lose.

The banner came out at half time v Blackpool, it was on the telly.

The people in the same seats had the banner before kick off v Mansfield. Was in ESL, every player would have seen it when warming up.

Well that’s pathetic then. Luckily we don’t have those issues in ESU

Confused me also

Forgot who the tosser off here is who likes giving opposition fans a virtual warm soapy tit wank on their forums.

Well he's done it again.

This week.

With that fucking shower.

Give your fucking head a wobble mate.

Happy fucking Days my arse.

Wigan fans have a forum?

I didn't think they could read or write!

I really don't see the issue. Most people want Evatt gone so fair play for these 2 having the bottle to put up a banner. It's getting the message seen, while they're still there supporting the team. Would you rather they join the thousands who've just stopped going?

Anyway, if the team want the stadium behind them tomorrow, play with passion for 90 mins. Rather than 20min stints we've been doing of late.

Can't be any excuses tomorrow. Fan support has been tremendous and not paid back by all the big game capitulations from Evatt's team.

I’m not sure what it achieves. Looks a bit tinpot and I’ve cringed a couple of times this season with some of the chants. I’m not the biggest IE fan but during the game we are all in it together.

I can’t fault the passion of people trying to make a change. I think there is a misconception seen by a few on here that those who want change are just miserable sods. Couldn’t be any more wrong. You feel like you can see what’s coming. I sadly think time will back that up but let’s see.

Bigger problem and this is for me is the apathy. Once that creeps in then it’s the worst kind of stuff. I’ll just get off of the game if we go a few down and I know the game is up.

Reality is IE isn’t going anywhere for whatever reason. So it’s become a futile point really. Though those few people saying about Millwall reckon a bid is coming by the weekend. @gonzo

100% agree on it being on the team to show up tomorrow. They owe us one.

Yeah, to me the apathy is worse. And that's what a lot are feeling when skipping games/leaving once we're behind. I'm culpable of being in this pot, just going through the motions this season waiting for the next no show.

The positive approach this season would have been a new manager and new ideas. Not believing in Evatt doesn't make the fans negative.

Every post on here is about making a positive start and playing on the front foot to get the crowd united and behind the team. Standing there with.a banner saying sack the manager that you get out just as the players come out so that is what they see as they are warming up does the exact opposite of everything we what to happen.

Tomski questions what it achieves It actually leads to fans arguing amongst themselves and creates a toxic atmosphere. Not believing in Evatt does n’t make the fans negative but unfurling such a banner does.

Totally agree with this; there have been some low points this season after the non show at Wembley and many including myself have wanted someone new to take us forward but banners before we start a game is a no no.

Fans reaction like at Stockport is well acceptable although I left straight after the second goal from the home end; others leaving same time as me
