worthy10 Posted January 11, 2025 Posted January 11, 2025 Big, brave, strong hairy arsed footballers required, I'm afraid, we have none. Quote

Fair fucking play to them! Yep. Football kept simple. Everyone can see what/who the problem is at this football club. Everyone except those inside the groupthink bubble in the boardroom. As such they are also deeply culpable. Dark days like today are what we need to get rid of him. We should not have to be put through this as fans when we can all see the patently obvious. Our board need a long hard look at themselves. I hate having to say stuff like this. I hate Saturdays being the non-event that they are just now. But we know what we're on about and the board just don't. They can't otherwise this clown would not still be in a job. What other conclusion is there to draw? Quote
Arrested development Posted January 11, 2025 Posted January 11, 2025 Decide to play some football at 3 nil down. Should of been playing Mcatee in earlier in the game not hoofing it. Quote

What other conclusion is there to draw? The trouble is the squad now. It's been built around Evatt's 'vision'. Whatever that is. And I imagine it'll take at least a couple of windows to get some balance back into it unless a new manager wants to play a similar system. Quote

Hoppy Posted January 11, 2025 Posted January 11, 2025 Fighting to go up or fighting relegation is the usual course for us not mid table boring, the latter for us if we don't get rid of IE Quote
Rizlar Posted January 11, 2025 Posted January 11, 2025 We all know he is going nowhere just spent over a million on another weak as piss player. Quote

Writing a guy off after one game is classic Bolton fans. Especially when we have hoofed it all game and barely passed him the ball. Give the guy a chance FFS. Quote

Blondi Posted January 11, 2025 Posted January 11, 2025 Can't wait for Evatt's post match interview. He'll probably say the turning point was Dion's miss. Quote
Moonguest Posted January 11, 2025 Posted January 11, 2025 When Evatt goes it will become clear that it’s not team selection or formation that is the main problem. It’s worse than that. It’s that he has signed a long list of journeymen not good enough to play for BWFC. The proof is that none of today’s squad will ever play in the Championship for BWFC. That gives you an idea how long it will take to turn things round. I predict promotion in May 2028. Quote
Greg_BWFC Posted January 11, 2025 Posted January 11, 2025 Another game where the other team looked like they had 3 or 4 more men on the pitch than us. Another game where the opposition fans will look and think that's the easiest game they've had all season. Weak, both physically and mentally. Has to change now, doesn't it ? Quote
Hoppy Posted January 11, 2025 Posted January 11, 2025 Evatt "it's difficult to score goals at this level unless you play us" Quote
