A Fucking day out at Wembley in April while were languishing  mid table . Can’t think of anything worse 😂

I can honestly see him going all out to win it again, to put it on his CV and get the positivity back.  It will then be "Wembley 3 years running" even if we finish 13th.

Absolutely.  Exactly why it's so baffling that nowt changes.

Going to turn into resentment and anger.

It turned in to that for me after the epoch making disgraces v Stockport and Wigan. These powder-puff surrenders are not Bolton Wanderers Football Club is about.

When Evatt goes it will become clear that it’s not team selection or formation that is the main problem. It’s worse than that. It’s that he has signed a long list of journeymen not good enough to play for BWFC.

The proof is that none of today’s squad will ever play in the Championship for BWFC. That gives you an idea how long it will take to turn things round. I predict promotion in May 2028.

I think the players are mostly good enough for this level, but the glaringly obvious problem is the lack of balance in the team.

How many headers and second balls did we win today ?

Not enough.

Different times (and much better players of course), but fat Sam set up to earn the right to play our football in the right areas.

We insist on playing football from our own 6 yard box and the players just aren't good enough unfortunately.

That's the manager's philosophy.

He’s like an addicted gambler. Shit loads of money in the hole but consistently picks the same runner or number hoping that the law of averages means his luck will change. Running back to the bank for more money “this time I swear Just one more and I’ll put it right”

the board are his enablers where they should be organising an intervention

Rotherham hoofed it more than we did, Matete would of made no difference, ball would of been going over his head like every other midfielder.

That 2nd goal wouldn't have happened, it would have been cleared from danger.  We would have won more tackles and therefore more possession.

OK we would still have lost because we were well beaten again, but at least use the best players available.

Who knows what happens if he starts or had the manager's backing or any confidence at all?

Stop it

Stop it, now

He missed at Mansfield and I was one of the ones to defend him

That one today was shit and all on him

Second bit isn't necessarily true, if we do the first.

prefer to look for the positives, so here goes ...

1. Morley was decent

2. 2k+ for an early  kick off on telly was amazing support

3. One game nearer to Evatt (eventually) going

I can’t take much more of this. Despite all the mutterings from players saying they back Evatt it clearly isn’t the case.

I really don’t know how bad it needs to get before the board sack him, that’s the scariest part. His job looks 100% safe, he’s been backed with more money along with Sharon’s public backing.

they’re hardly gonna get rid in the middle of a transfer window after another big signing.

2nd goal shouldn't count as we had already switched off thinking about a half time hot vimto.

Not surprising though. Star striker playing from the bench most games. He's bound to be rusty. The fact he misses sitters indicates he's finding the right positions. But playing 20 minutes is killing his instinct.

Evatt out reactions got a mention on Soccer Saturday just now.  Presenter said Rotherham had failed to score in 11 games this season and had only scored 2 in their previous 5 games, but got 3 against Bolton - said fans protesting against Evatt.  Possibly the first time Sky have picked up on the mood.

You wouldn’t have thought so . I would rather him see the window out we need to offload a few the season is a wash out anyway . Last  thing we need is a new manager in thinking some of these players are good enough

They ran out of beer and pie BEFORE half time. Shambles

I think he'll miss sitters even when he starts, but what he does give us is that defending from the front thing.

At least the centre halves know they're in a game.

Them today barely saw any pressure at all, Dion would harassed them at the very least.

And two of our "better" wins were against 10 men.  Last season a couple of our defeats (Bristol Rovers and Blackpool) were impacted by Santos being sent off; this season the luck's been on our side, we haven't had a sending off yet but the opposition have self destructed twice.  Our points tally flatters us.
