I think he'll miss sitters even when he starts, but what he does give us is that defending from the front thing.

At least the centre halves know they're in a game.

Them today barely saw any pressure at all, Dion would harassed them at the very least.

Charles did lay on both goals Mansfield and today were better with him

though how he missed that chance he did it also at orient must be 4 or 5 of them now from a yard or two out

If both teams had scored all their chances we'd have lost by far more than we did. No need for ifs, buts and maybes this week.

Or in any of our defeats in the last year.  Comprehensively beaten in every one of them with exception of Mansfield.

I’m genuinely concerned that he’s here until the end of his contract at least. Clubs don’t shell out on players for a manager that they don’t think will be here next season. Hope to fuck I’m wrong

Just wank so fucking predictable.

Too many players who simply can not pull their own socks up but walk round like they are heroes.

A midfield 3 of Morley, McAtee and NKOTB and we get over run. Captain Legohead looks totally shot but just bring Matete on.

IE is totally broken. Fuck him off please.

Who's players are they, Ian?

Hopefully he can bin some of them in the window he as said before some off them toss it off in training .
also he signs  a player this week who as been accused by is previous manager of the exact same thing does not bode well

Agree Charles should be starting. He missed a sitter & maybe a half chance plus created our goal . Not at his best but yes he does at least put himself about unlike Collins who struggles physically.  Metette’s absence in a game against Rotherham is a real head stratcher .

Schon & Morley were ok , Williams had a nightmare & should have been pulled at HT & Cogley in preference to Tutu as sub when chasing the game is unbelievable.

My pet hate is still happening ie not covering the edge of our penalty area at corners.Their guy had oceans of space to hit the ball & a more accurate shot would have been another giveaway goal.

Just listened to Evatt's post-match interview blaming the players. "Changing me isn't going to help. It'll be the same players out there". I get his point, but this can't go on much longer. Maybe they're playing shit because of the way they're being managed? Be that in training, conditioning, tactics, mentality, whatever.

Isn’t he therefore basically saying that the manager is completely irrelevant, it’s all about the players?

That sounds desperate hopefully it was pointed out that he as bought everyone of those players .bar one

Remember him saying they spent a lot of time doing due diligence when they signed a player attitude and all that

"I'm more than willing to take responsibility for my part, but it's not me out there not competing. It's not me out there not running. It's not me out there losing duels and losing second balls, or misplaced passing. That's not down to the manager."

😬
