Credit to SS today. Calm on the sidelines and no arguing with refs, 4th official, opposition coaches, etc. Refreshing. 

Pleased for McAtee. Like many, I’ve struggled to see what he brings. Hopefully today is the start of something.

Two league games in a row where we’ve seen the best and worst of our team in the same game. Still feel we’ll win and lose as the season goes on but some promising signs so far. 

Half time entertainment was up there with the strangest I’ve seen, particularly the ‘interview’ with some young lad who’s dad had died a few days ago.

He may have another gig, or he may be seen as too close to Evatt, maybe Schuie 'has someone', or the board may have done a study on his last 12-18m outcomes.

Lots of rumours on there yesterday. 

Loved Schumacher’s interview, lad played it in the car on the way home. Refreshing and impressed to hear him saying they set up different to how expected and took a while to adapt. Just that makes a difference hearing your manager talk tactical without being entirely blinkered about our performance. 

Ainsworth’s comments about us too was good to hear. 
 

thought Randall struggled to make an impact, Mcatee got better 2nd half after being frustrating in the first, the goal certainly helped his confidence, subs made an impact. Bodes well.

The main thing for me is it has to be at least 3 midfielders. I don't think this 2 in midfield helps any of them.

But yes, on form it's those 3 definitely who should play.
