Not really sure what his best position is, he seems to get a free rein.I wanted to like him, but it difficult to....
April 5, 20251 yr I had a dig around and found this. Scoring in the first half is really poor. Another page says we've only scored first in 40% of games. Improve in that and we should be laughing.

April 5, 20251 yr The Forrester injury is a concern Him leaving on crutches doesn't bode well Hopefully it's not as serious as it seems

April 5, 20251 yr If Forrester is out then if be delighted to go with GJ, Rico and Forino to see the season out .
April 5, 20251 yr I don't hate McAtee but he's perhaps the most frustrating footballer in recent memory

I think it’s the Rose and Crown pub and I take your point. Crown and Crest is shop opposite - for your family crest and heritage stuff. Enjoy! (any idea what the fish and chips next door are like?)

I know it’s all about opinions but I thought he had a decent game today 🤷♂️ always trying something different and not many others did.. it was a turgid performance but a win is all that matters 👍

Perhaps limits width, especially down the left, but perhaps gives a good all round balance. No guarantee whatever formation we play though, and I can't see SS using it. Aye ... 442 with 4 CM's No thanks

April 5, 20251 yr I’d like to see tutu as a 10 in behind one of Collins or mcatee in a 4-4-1-1. I think he’d offer quite a lot running directly at these steam boat centre halves. After today, I don’t have much confidence that this etete’s much kop though because we were crying out for an out ball and with the big lad sat on the bench, would’ve been ideal as an option. Didn’t even get 5 mins at the end when clearly Collins and mcatee were both goosed

Atleast 5/6 performances when he’s been anonymous and especially when we play evatt ball and inevitably after 15 passes it gets lumped and lost. we need to go to a back 4 whatever we’re doing in front of it. It’s the only time we’ve moved the ball quickly through the lines

April 5, 20251 yr He's been anonymous because he's a very average L1 wing back being asked to provide attacking width for an entire squad. As for today, it's simple really. This team isn't very good. In that context, any win is a good win and if we get to the playoffs that'll be a very solid achievement for SS.

April 5, 20251 yr Mcatee made 3 or 4 good runs in behind first half and nobody read or made the pass. His movement is good but he tends to drop deep a bit too often. Needs to lead the line because Collins drifts about. This team still has evatt in its blood, they go backwards too often, too patient. The amount of times we get in position to cross the ball and it ends up with the fucking centre half. Hopefully with a proper transfer window and pre season schuey can eradicate this. When we actually cross the ball we can look dangerous but too often we waste it by passing it inside then backwards. Edited April 5, 20251 yr by Arrested development
