As you say though, the frequency of them did drop significantly after February. EE had 19 yellows in League 1 in his career, GT had 33, whilst playing a very similar amount of minutes.

Only fault you could perhaps fault him for is the bookings he receives for back chat as seen when he got the red here last season.
July 28, 20251 yr Possible 6 debuts in the starting xi ? Sharman lowe, simons, ethan, duberry, gale,Burstow ? Gonna be an interesting 11.30am on Sunday.

Point being, he had a record for back chat- that's according to their fans. Maybe not so much for fouls. Other players will know that, and if he can be wound up in such a way, then they will try to. Hopefully, he can overcome it.

July 28, 20251 yr Just been checking Bet365. It's 350/1 for us to win 5-0 on Sunday. The best bet is surely a Thierry Gail shot from outside the box at 28/1 better odds than a Dan header 😆

July 29, 20251 yr I’m really excited about this game: it’s a new season, we have a new team and the old enemy - hope - is back. Whilst we’ve been rebuilding with young players with the potential to be Championship standard next year, other teams have taken a different approach. Stockport have shed quite a few players including the excellent Olaofe who ripped us a new one last year who has gone to Charlton for not a lot shy of two mil and brought in Mothersille from Posh. They’ve got Forini back from loan in midfield but mainly they’ve bolstered their defence - a back line including the experienced Finnish international Hoskonen, the athletic Oluwo who had run his contract down at Donny plus Hughes, also ex Posh. Potentially solid at the back with wide men who like to get forward so expect the battle to be won or lost on the flanks - a lot of pressure on Gale and CD in the first proper game but Im sure they can handle it. Hurry up Sunday.

They seem pretty confident of having Nathan Lowe in by the weekend and a full back from Burnley but either way we should have enough to do much better this season and by using that hope you mentioned lusty start with a win.
July 30, 20251 yr I've just read that due to the train issue there are buses going from Bolton Interchange to the ground on Sunday. £10 return. Times are 9:45, 9:50, 9:55, 10, 10:05 and 10:10 returning after the game
