You see I never thought he was shit. He’s not an ACD or CBT but he could get a decent cross or pass in and was more consistent than either Gale or Cissoko. I think too many are ready to class players as  shit when they’re not. It’s a matter of opinion and Schuey clearly didn’t rate him. I just think with the forwards we have now he’d have fitted in ok.

Was a baffling signing for me. Not a wing back, not a winger. Didn't really have the ability to beat a man, shoot, tackle, cross (did put one good cross in for an assist, but generally remember him bollocksing everything up in the final third). No idea what the recruitment team at the time were thinking.

Hoped we might see more of him when SS played him as a winger, but if anything he was worse.

Bit of a step from Alty to the championship, would expect a loan to a higher level would be next for him regardless of our keeper situation.

Yes I’d agree but hasn’t he only 12 months left on his contract and if so and we were planning to keep him we’d want to get him tied down longer first?
