Politics - Part 2

Kemi Badenoch doesn’t really need to speak in public more than once a month and she’ll do ok. In that respect, keeping her head down is proving very effective.

Sniping from the sidelines and criticising everyone clearly has merit. 🙃

This is part 2 of the Politics discussion.

I can see why, I actually think after initially getting the gig as leader, and generally being very naive and getting schooled by Starmer at her early PMQs, she's improved vastly, and normally comes across quite well in my opinion. It bodes well for a sensible Conservative Party getting back in power at some point in the not too distant future

Yeah, I agree with this. She's warmed into the role of opposition leader and is presenting herself quite well now. The Tories are like the Germans at the world cup. A bunch of c*nts but you'd be daft to write them off.

Yeah she carries herself quite well on the occasions I've seen her. A little bit soundbitey perhaps - but aren't they all?

She is RIPPING KS

a Newone today

🤣🤣🤣

Let us not forget she was gagging to jump into the Iran war with president Nonce and genocide boy just a few months agoD

Same with Farage.

That is who they are and what they will do

Badenoch will put a lot of people off by how aggressive she is

She is also supremely confident in herself which comes across as arrogant, especially when she says things like, "I don't make gaffes" then proceeds to do so fairly regularly.

I personally prefer James Cleverly and although he also has an air of arrogance about him he seems like an accomplished politician.

But let's be honest neither side of the benches are awash with political heavyweights these days.

She made herself look a cunt is what she did.

A pair of eyelashes and a black T-shirt! 😅

She's more effective as the Leader of the Opposition, keeping them in check, than she would be as leader of the country imo

Cleverly is one of the biggest cunts going.

Air of arrogance is more of a god complex.

He came across as a decent bloke on The Rest is Politics last week, but they went very easy on him and he talked a lot of shite. His time in the Armed Forces is his only boast really, but even that's a bit wishy washy as the majority of it was TA.

I thought it was a bit shit so many MPs turned up to welcome Burnham back to Parlaiment hours after forcing Starmer to resign

All spineless toadying nobodies

Are Labour hiring the lad that looks like he stinks off and talks about economics on Piers Morgan and stuff?

No doubt you would have preferred for the worlds biggest sponsor of terrorism to be left alone to reach their goal of owning a nuke?

'Genocide boy'? Is that one of the Iranian leaders who is wiping out all internal opposition?

And attract plenty of others. Well impressed with her.

So you think this war with Iran has been a good thing? 😂

So it's a binary choice is it (don't tell Spider FFS).

I 'think' some good things have come from it along with some bad. All wars right?

Those primitive mad cunts not getting a nuke is very high on the good side of the list.

Maybe we should shorten the process and send them a nuke 😂

As they all are and have been. Easy gig being in opposition, pile in on those in power without much focus on what you'd do instead (if you actually have any coherent, sellable plan).

Starmer's downfall and Burnham's going to have to be clear on the what, why and how from the off

Starmer made too many promises in opposition and in his manifesto then couldn't deliver owing to his self-imposed fiscal rules.

The rules effectively stopped growth so he and Reeves reverted to austerity... "we'll do it when we can afford it".

People didn't see the promised progress, just him playing Billy Big Boots on the world stage

That'd be a fucking disaster
