So Who Are Your Heroes?

Recommended Posts

This probably sounds ridiculous, but my heroes are not famous, well known, or even documented. Whilst i admire some famous names my heroes have got to be ordinary people who work for crap money in shit jobs for the simple reason that they care- nurses.

i also admire people who have had more than their fair share of shit in life yet refuse to give in and against all odds make something of themselves.

Bet that sounds bloody naff.

Weller? Eastwood? Dalglish? Lord Lucan?

Who are your heroes in life and why?

My Mum & Dad for putting up with me

My brave 2 year old Niece having to live with Galactosaemia for the rest of her life

My late brave Grandma and Grandad who both fought Cancer only to pass away for entirely different reasons

There are so many people worthy of the title Heroe

People who are selfless, think of others

Ah, Mr Burns. Good choice. Will you be watching him in action this weekend? 90% certain going to Blackburn on Sunday rather than Manc on Friday.

And to think, all those years ago Jake sang that he didn't wanna be - " Nobodys hero"

I think i've still got the ticket stub from Blackburn King Georges - Oct 1979, price ?2.
