Theboybell Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 Stelios just come on for greece! pros/cons would you have kept him on or not?? i would have offered him an extra year very useful player to ave on the bench and scored some very important goals for us he would have prob taken a wage cut to stay on as well as whoever signs him will offer the lad less than we were paying him!
bwfc6ix Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 i remember the days when the little man was linked with liverpool.
markh2008 Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 I'd have kept him for another year as a squad player, think the little Greek was useful when coming off the bench last season.
Guest YW Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 stelios was too attcking for the ginger red ginger, he needed to be more defensive.
H Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Don't recall him touching the ball after he came on. I'd still have kept him though.
Sweep Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 stelios was too attcking for the ginger red ginger, he needed to be more defensive. you really are negative aren't you.
Casino Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 In one. he wasn't going to get a game rightly so in my opinion so, if he aint playing why keep him id presume hes on a good wage so it was right to get shut, unless you think hes going to start going past full backs

We would be down if he had not poped up with the late winner v them rubbin rags, so i agree with you there. Edited June 15, 2008 by M G WHITES

Casino Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 We would be down if he had not poped up with the late winner v them rubbin rags, so i agree with you there. he scored a few important goals last season chuck in spurs and at least 1 euro game off the top of me head however, for the money he was on, id expect more of an impact he wasn't going to be given a chance so i just cant see any reason to keep him
Burndens Bogs Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 One of the big 4 will offer him a bumper deal Now yer just being silly Browny or Stoke might be tempted with a one year deal for him or summat

I think after what Sam built we seem intent on fooking ruining it and until Megson and Gartside go I wont be fickle and pretend all is grand. next season will be a struggle.
