Went in there a couple of times. Actually had a pint with Sir John and Jimmy Phillips. Bit too far off the beaten track for it to ever become a worthwhile venture.

Im only a young en so to be fair carnt really contribute but pubs i been in that i remember that are no longer there.

 

Montares,

the bridge inn,

bedrock,

Im old enough to remember it being called ritzy,

Atlantis,

Still a pub, Brierfields.

 

The Borough Arms on Higher Bridge St. was my local, would call in The Globe a bit further down before venturing into Town.

 

Both are gone now thanks to Gordons fcuking Ford. :angry:
