ive always rated upson, but thought he was poor on saturday.

I always wonder about the origins of surnames. We know that Coopers were manufacturers of barrells for the brewing industry, Wrights are fixers of things (Cartwright, Wainwright, etc.), Fletchers made arrows,

How the f?ck did matthew's forebears get the name Up Son? :pardon:

"Many Premier League managers might suggest that what Davies is good at doing treads a line that frequently borders on the illegal and that numerous international referees would quickly be reaching for their red cards if he ever played for England." Guardian

See that's what gets me so p*ssed off with the national media & their hangers-on - their football reporters are so ignorant. This guy has obviously not noticed, or forgotten, that Kev D played a significant part in BW's two UEFA Cup campaigns of 18 matches - and no red card. Probably not much in the way of yellows either. But then he gets all wet and pretends it's not his view by saying "Many Premier League managers might suggest ...". Wimp !

I'd go so far as to say that the continental referees were generally far more understanding of our British style of play than most Prem refs - and certainly a lot less pre-judging.

Still, the Guardian's report is no match for the one-eyed cockernee sparrer who wrote the match report for the Times.

they really are a set of c?nts

Says it all, not many fans for a premier league club should not happen. Personally i reckon the premier league should have a rule saying if a club can't get an attendence of 75%, then they should be deducted points. The lower the attendence the worse the atmosphere, and this takes away a joy of going to watch a game. Also bolton has a 28 000 stadium, which should not be that hard to fill up, espically in the premier league

Official attendance 21,245. 75% of 28,000 is 21,000. I'm guessing he was seeing his probation officer when they did percentages.

A complete bunch of twats.

Going completely off topic here, I thought that throughout our 2 campaigns and couldn't understand why they were of a much better standard than our alledgedly elite refs. That is a good reason why.

That guy wants stringing up for being so one sided.

This is cheered me up after reading that load of crap though:

Particularly like the image of that bird walking out, shame on her!

sorry for bringing i up AGAIN, but we had about 2000 fans walk out with 5mins to go, when we were 2-1 up and clinging on to 3 points.

just cant get my head around it...

I wanted this set of pricks to go down but come to think of it, it would be better if they stayed in this league as we always get easy points against them. Set of deluded pricks. They are from the slums of the capital and really are a set of depressing, boring cu nts.

They are a great blow job? i don't fucking know what do you want me to say?

Greenys a good keeper and had 2 bad games all year (both against you lot)

A bit off topic but ....

I turned over to the Boro V Hammers cup replay last night. Boro had taken an early 2-0 lead. I noticed that when West Ham had possession around their own area, Boro often had 3-4 players in the West Ham half defending and closing down. West Ham never really got any attacking rhythm going.

Just wondering about how that contrasts with us defending our own area so deeply last Saturday. Again.

We used to get some of the best reporting in the old days in the Manchester Guardian. Just proves how our culture is dominated to-day by Thames Estuary English speaking Michael Barrymore look alikes. Dear old Eric Todd must be rolling in his grave. I remember he wrote a whole long paragraph on one of Wyn Davies's headed goals.

Why not, Cas ? Don't be so blinkered. Sure Boro are shite, and yet despite that they contained West Ham last night for a 2-0 win better than we did last weekend. Got to be something worth considering there, is all I'm saying.
