John Thomas Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 He might have a better attitude than Mr. Hunt. That does count for something. Mr Hunt was on the same golf course as i and let us threw as we were catching his fourball. Top man. How do you know he has a bad attitude
Casino Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 hunt is a perfectly adequate full back i wouldn't have shelled out 4 or 5 million to replace a fit hunt unfortunately hes rarely fit hunt was playing very well under lee and he didn't want to play him either

Common denominator there. He made a decent contribution in a team that qualified for Europe. That's how i judge him.

Shock horror time here but i agree with JT Hunt is more than good enough for us and RB isn't a position we need to improve as desparately as others. that said if Meggers see's ricketts as better than Gretar (who lets not forget made some pretty bad mistakes last year) then i can't really see a problem with it.

Casino Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 ps get back to the cricket thread and have a go at mr flintoff
Carlos Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Was the common denominator between Campo, Nolan and Speed that their legs had gone, for differing reasons? I've seen children's sack races move at a faster pace than them.

Carlos Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 You talk as much nonsense as Mr Devil's Advocate KnowAll on here. Work out who that is for yourselves. I talk utter nonsense. It doesn't alter the fact that all 3 were fucked and all 3 now play in the Championship, unless any of them have retired? I don't really keep track.
adambwfc Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Campo got released, and tbh on the form of his last 18 months here I'm not surprised.
Gaz Nt Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Been linked with Sam Ricketts and Duff again this morning. I thought Megson said he'd be signing quality not Quantity?!
Casino Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Been linked with Sam Ricketts and Duff again this morning. I thought Megson said he'd be signing quality not Quantity?! reet we're going to sign messi there, we've been 'linked' fook me, some folk are hard work
jimmyjoojar Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 (edited) Been linked with Sam Ricketts and Duff again this morning. I thought Megson said he'd be signing quality not Quantity?! FUCK ME!! Both players would improve the squad. Megson clearly doesn't rate Hunt. What do people want?? Edited July 21, 2009 by jimmyjoojar

Just because he let you through on a golf course hes a nice guy I laugh more and more everytime i fucking read it! It was tongue in cheek. After thanking him for his golf etiquette , i refrained from asking him did he think he'll get a game next season or whether Megson's management style appealed to him. Bigtoe Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 He thought there was a special needs day out on, thus let you through first, so you didnt run down the course chasing his buggy asking for a 99

newquay central Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Think Mr hunts face dosen t fit with ginger one .Simple as that . Heard today he s banged in a transfer request as he feels he aint getting fair crack of the whip . Have to say i agree with him ,as was said earlier in the thread steinson dropped some bollox last season but was still played week in week out .As for Sam Ricketts no better than what we v got.

It may all be about attitude, and it would seem from a few on here Mr. Hunt as one. Also I get the feeling that Steinson would run through a brick wall for the team and I don?t see that in Hunt

tylswhite Posted July 21, 2009 Author Posted July 21, 2009 All this about Steinsson dropping bollocks last season, he played down the right on his own without any real cover. Kevin Davies played on the right wing but he didnt fill in at right back when Steinsson went forward because Davies was in the box. We could of had the best right back in the world last season and he would have struggled to cope because of lack of cover. This season if we have a naturally right sided player that he can link up with we will see the best of him.
HomerJay Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 steinsson is the best rightback weve had in a LONG time as far as im concerned. we need more steinssons and less hunts imo
