magic legs Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Just about hanging on at the end. 2-1 to the Wanderers.
Gaz Nt Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Your sister is your mother. Your uncle is your brother. You all shag one another. The Dingle Family. You've lost your Owen Coyle. You made his Jock blood boil. Wish you was under soil. The Dingle Family.....

snackum Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 this banner is supposed to be coming tomorrow nice effort, but Coylle? BBC Sport's Phil McNulty at the Reebok: "If Owen Coyle was uncertain about what sort or reception he was going to receive from Burnley's fans, he knows only too well now. Hugely hostile, deafening chants of "Judas" before and after he emerged and a selection of insulting banners from supporters still very sore about his defection to Bolton. One banner unfurled before kick-off read "He's Not The Messiah. He's A Very Naughty Boy." When Bolton supporters try to chant their support for Coyle, it is almost drowned out by the sound of fury coming from Burnley's thousands of travelling supporters."
snackum Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Leeeeeeee....... Off side, in off the bar !! Assist for SKD !!
superjohnmcginlay Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Job done solid display all round tonight. needed to grind a result out and did so. Having Alexander leave the field was a massive boost as well. Onwards and Upwards.
TrickyTrotter Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Had a few other chances first half. Second half little to see - Taylor running in front of Elmander's strike on goal and Jansen's save from Elmander. Burnley created nowt.
superjohnmcginlay Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Anyone see any bother after the game as I left there were a few "boys" walking towards the ground
offside Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Fair result, impressed with Coyle at the end going on pitch to shake hands with Burnley players and applaud their fans despite getting dogs abuse from them all evening
Guest bwfcdan Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Anyone see any bother after the game as I left there were a few "boys" walking towards the ground Nothing much, a couple hundred wanderers fans congregated at that make shift barrier set up to keep the esl and burnley fans apart... a few Burnley fans got through, one got closer than the others so Bolton fans ran at him but the police got there first.... OWEN COYLE'S SUPER WHITE ARMY
Werder barmen Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 found our back four? thought all 4 played well together today.. and sam rickettss looked alright over on the left
M G WHITES Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Not great tonight by a long shot but a much needed win
jonathan Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 found our back four? thought all 4 played well together today.. and sam rickettss looked alright over on the left yeah they did. knight seems to be settling in and making a decent partnership with cahill. steinsson is getting back to his best after getting a run in the team. only prob with ricketts playing at left back is that we would have both samuel and robinson as other left backs in the squad and no other cover at right back. playing samuel in left midfield like against SUFC on saturday doesn't really work too well plus (hopefully) left mid is where vladi weiss will get a run. did very well in his 30 sec cameo and enarly set up a 2nd goal. looks a good prospect and seeing on a few forums man city fans seem to think he is a very good talent and a future star of citeh. hope for our sake he shows that potential in the next 4 months!
tkonion Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Anyone see any bother after the game as I left there were a few "boys" walking towards the ground It was going off at the entrance to the away car park when I walked past, two mobs going at it with not a Dibble in sight for quite a while. It looked like an organised off to me as nobody was wearing colours that I could see.

Guest bwfcdan Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Did anyone see the Burnley fan jump over to the esl at the end Yeh haha!! 2 seconds later he had 7 coppers on top of him

Underpants Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Tonight we weren't good, we weren't solid we were very poor. Still it's a clean one and 3 points to boot. Onwards!
frank_spencer Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Took longer than ever to get off the car park probably related to a bunch of inbreds causing bother on their big night out. good result, still looked shakey at times. much better after Elmander came on, klasnic had done less than fuck all. Taylor and Davies were are most waseful players today. Chungy looked like he's loving playing in the prem. Burnley were utter shite though
Trotski Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Looking forward to working in Accrington tomorrow.
RicardoComstive Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Tonight we weren't good, we weren't solid we were very poor. Still it's a clean one and 3 points to boot. Onwards! I disagree - thought we were solid, especially in the second half. Zat Knight back to his England best! They didn't really have any chances, did they? All in all, we deserved the win I feel - onwards and..!
Guest bwfcdan Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Wasnt a good performance at all. Thought Davies and Klasnic we're poor. LCY did well at times but at other times his crosses we're really poor. Elmander looked good when he came on, and i thought Cahill had one off his better games this season. And Knight's confidence seems to be growing every match, finally coming good
