tarian1979 Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 not just elmander, loads of them out of form and lost confidence. Lee can't be expected to turn it on twice a week for 90 mins in his first season yet he starts every game. taylor out of form ditto. k davies and elmander lots of endeavour, both aren't finishers, drop one of them. nothing in midfield, gardner (one of my favourite players is out of position), it needs a proper central midfielder who can make a short pass (m davies has to start every game). the defence has been holding up well recently until later in this game but robinson and steinsson are championship material, i'd have JLS and Hunt back seriously. Nail - head. Both of them two full backs that are playing art fucking abysmal
tarian1979 Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 we are still about 9/4 to go down on betfair, remarkable Its the bet of the century. I cant do it. Ive told friends though its fantastic odds. burnely next 3 home games - stoke, ports, wolves. They could get a few points there

Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Is there one Bolton player with their fist clenched saying 'come on get stuck in' encouraging the players? Answers on a postcard. Should be getting that from the captain at least- but it's not happening Invertibrates have for backbone than that. Please Owen, don't come out saying we created lots of chances etc- say what we can see- ITS SHITE; and to any players that don't want to bother, sod off!
Happy Wanderer Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 I hate to say this but I'd try Elmander and Klasnic up front and rest K Davies as he looks a beaten man to me.
1969 Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 BSA is a fat smug wanker who i'd love to see get what he deserves and thats a good twatin
xxxxxx Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 I hate to say this but I'd try Elmander and Klasnic up front and rest K Davies as he looks a beaten man to me. I said that myself. I love K Davies and all, but he hasn't offered much for a few weeks now, in the Prem.

Heard a comment- that the Blackburn long balls were sticking and not comming back as quick as the Bolton one's. This after being told none of Blackburn's defence were over 6 feet tall and consisted of 3 full backs and a midfielder.

Midfielder Andrews who the Blackburn faithful have been slagging off all season was pushed into defence and was able to shut out our attack. Now that's bad.
TheWanderer1958 Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 No steel in the team at all we certainly miss Kevin Nolan. Well put.....!
passmosster Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Please Owen, don't come out saying we created lots of chances etc- say what we can see- ITS SHITE; and to any players that don't want to bother, sod off! When we got the one all away against Fulham, I was pretty certain that we'd stay up. OK we've lost Cahill for a while, but the midfield was more aggressive and harder tackling. And we played a so much tighter game. Now we have two out wide. Muamba playing in front of the centre halves and Gardner playing central midfield where he's a pussy. Blackburn lost their best header of the ball at the back in Neilsen and I don't think that we put one decent cross in 2nd half except for Kevin Davies who unfortunately couldn't be on the end of it. Samuel, and Hunt are miles better at that than Steinsson and Robinson. If we wanted to give youth a chance on the left wing, we should have given Danny Ward a few games. He is a brilliant crosser of the ball and is our player. Weiss is always coming in on his right foot and blasts it. I hope that the wet bedsheet brigade are meeting up to celebrate again, because we have no real experience in management (Coyle, Stewart, and Davis) in dealing with a situation like this and it is showing.
frank_spencer Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Fucking shite again. not one positive can be taken from that 'performance' Muamba can't shoot for fucking toffee so why do we keep laying the ball back to him? Other than one cross from wide right i don't remember seeing Kev Davies all game. Weiss has plenty of pace but NO end product. Taylor caused me to shout 'FOR FUCKS SAKE' at least 5 times in the 1st 30mins alone. Why can we play some nice football agaisnt Spurs and then produce shite like the fulham/Wigan/Dingles match?
Big_Girl_Oral_Explosion Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 I hope that the wet bedsheet brigade are meeting up to celebrate again, because we have no real experience in management (Coyle, Stewart, and Davis) in dealing with a situation like this and it is showing. would have been no better under Megson. The desperate position is purely down to his mediocre signings. He spent a lot of money on cast offs from the likes of watford, brum, west brom, pompey, hull and wolves and villa. these were in teams whom at the time were no better than us. twas always going to be an uphill struggle with this squad.
passmosster Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 twas always going to be an uphill struggle with this squad. Rubbish, we were miles better than to-day, especially away, earlier on in the season.
tarian1979 Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Because when teams play away from home theyre not as "Gung ho" attacking as if they where at home. Spurs only really showed urgency when they went behind, and murdered us 2nd half when they attacked us. Clean sheet v fulham - cos they werent bothered about attacking from the off. When we go away, the onus is on the home team to attack - hence alot of the time we look like conceeding goals for fun (aside from wigan who are a bad side too and that was a nevey cagey game where no side wanted to lose so they didnt really go all out at us). if i was an opposing manager coming to the reebok id say get at them from the 1st whistle and get at the back four as its bloody awful
Guest Blixa Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Tell you what beggar's belief for me - the entire team, except perhaps Jussi. Centre back - why isn't Shittu playing? He's not the world's best, but he is a centre back, not a full back chancing his arm. That would mean Ricketts to boot Robinson out (although J Lloyd would be a better option, as would Gardner). Right back? Can we recall Hunt? Or can someone give Steinsson a kick up the arse? Pray Cahill comes back asap too. Midfield, have to keep Muamba because he can tackle, but I'd balance that with Davies (Mark), move Gardner (if he's not left back) to left wing, give Chungy a rest and give someone else a chance to do the flair thing. Take your pick for that job. Holden? What's he like? If he's shit, why did we sign him? Up front, Klasnic back in as much as possible, give Davies a break and play him with Elmander. Vaz Te? Yeah, he falls over a lot, but he's got something none of the other strikers have - pace. Bench role. In fact, I'd send out all those 'maybe' players against Spurs to see if they give a shit. I hope so, we need fresh legs and fresh inspiration.
Big_Girl_Oral_Explosion Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 (edited) Rubbish, we were miles better than to-day, especially away, earlier on in the season. M G WHITES Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 All 11 players are to blame for today, they are all shite, fcuk um all, lazy wankers, no pride or passion.
snowball Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 twas always going to be an uphill struggle with this squad. Rubbish, we were miles better than to-day, especially away, earlier on in the season. When? Against Pompey and Birmingham? The only difference between then and now was we were getting the breaks (and we had a central defender worthy of the description) The defence that has been assembled is abysmal. Robinson and Knight are utter liabilities, Steinsson has always been better going forward and Ricketts has yet to convince me he is better than anything we had, wherever he plays. It almost makes no difference that we have one of the best keepers in the country when the rest of the defence are so bad. we went the longest period in our top flight history without recording a clean sheet. Now we have gone the longest since 188summatt without scoring. It is looking bleak. We HAVE to win our next two home games.
Piemon Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Wankey wank wank wank. utter utter dross. wish id have stayed in bed. Who was that who was kicking off in the ground? some punches thrown between fans today. not kids either? (during 2nd half)
