Has "Les Intouchables" been mentioned? What a film! Absolutely loved it.

Was about to download it off an illegal site when I noticed it's a porno!

Good man!

memories of murder - first half hour was black humour and had to bear with it. remaining 90 mins was gripping stuff

I watched Prometheus at the cinema last night. Absolute shit

Watched this Saturday night. 'Absolute shit' is a bit harsh IMO. Was a let-down though, as I'd been quite looking forward to it. Kind of felt the whole film was simply there as padding just to lead up to that very last scene. 4.5/10

Saw Dream House last night. Decent enough filum with some nice twists in a Shutter Island kind of way. 6.5/10

I really enjoyed City of God. Very violent scenes throughout. Pulled of showing reality in a shanty town brilliantly.

I watched this yesterday, really enjoyed it

I thought visually it was very good (especially as I watched it in 3D) but the story was slow and quite frankly crap. As you say, it was basically two hours of padding leading up to the last 10 or 20 seconds. I would give it 3/10

... wasn't sure you'd bother after City of Men :)

If you enjoyed that then you need to get hold of Elite Squad. Favela related again, but this time from the viewpoint of the (very corrupt) police.

Watch Red Lines at pics last night. Not as bad as I expected really. Twist is decent but too fast paced. 7/10.

Watched it on weds. Too many plot holes throughout, twist does work well though. Worth a watch.

Finally got round to watching Capt. America. I enjoyed it, lots of explosions and killing of Nazis. Now to watch the Avengers.

Amusing review of that Abraham Lincoln film on twatter.:-

Utter utter shit and the CG is like visual diarrhoea.

Trailer looked like it was the biggest shote to be released this year. The whole storyline from the start is absurd.
