HomerJay Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Sacha Baron Cohen is as funny as piles. I don't think he's aiming for haha funny tbf He's very good at what he does, but it does get tiring after a while. Quote

I get what he's doing, I understand his "humour", it just doesn't amuse me. I'm a simple girl who was brought up on Wheeltappers and Shunters & for intellectual humour, not the nine o'clock news. BUT, everything else he's done, I've hated. Maybe, bits of Dumb and Dumber have made me titter Is it from a book, if so, I'd probably read it. Quote

Zico Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 The trailer looks good Seriously Oh and dumb and dumber is brilliant Just been watching batman and I shed a tear when that trailer came on Looks like they'll ruin the memory, they should leave it be Batman was good but the ending pissed me off Quote
Zico Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 What do look good from the trailers though are Lawless and Gangster Squad (something like that) Quote
Boothy Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 "We Can Remember It For You Wholesale" is actually a great short story. The original Total Recall was a top film though, if only for the three titted bird and Arnie's eyeballs popping out. Apparently, the 'remake' is only loosely apeopleied, so the new one could have potentail. On another note, "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" is another quality book by Phil Dick, which was adapted to Blade Runner. Sorry to oblige. Quote
enzo gambaro Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Drive You'd be better off going for one than watching it. You could download the soundtrack in the interests of entering into the spirit of things. Quote
