L/H White Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Watched The Sitter last night, with Jonah Hill. If you want to watch a typical Usa comedy that a no brainer it's a good choice. It's about a guy who has to get ?10k back to a dealer whilst looking after 3 kids for the night. Just over an hour long, it didn't require any attention and made decent Sunday night viewing. Just watched it, thought it was decent. Quote
Matt Lofthouse Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Just watched The Millionaire Tour. Pretty good, only a short film with a few twists along the way. Quote
Guest Frandsen08 Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Watched Green Mile again last night - good flick!.... boss sir did you cry? Quote
L/H White Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 I only gave it an hour of my life before I decided it wasn't having any more. As every film I've watched recently has been dogwank, I've gone onto the tele series again and got the entire first series of Alcatraz. 4 episodes in and it's got potential. I'm on Alcatraz next. jules_darby Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 Saw the Hunger Games last night I don't know what all the jizz is about As we appear to now say.....meh Quote
DazBob Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 I do love a good war film me and The Thin Red Line had somehow slipped under my radar. It's a long 'un, but worth it IMO. 7.5/10 Quote
Maggie Tate Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 Who's seen Kill List? It's British. Mark Kermode recommended it. If you like paedophiles being tortured and twatted to death with hammers, I'd recommend it too. Very unpleasant stuff, but well worth a watch. Quote

I'm after a decent filum for us to snuggle up and watch. I'm guessing not this one... Quote

L/H White Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 (edited) 21 Jump Street. Still not decided if I liked it or not. Some funny parts, dull in places. Edited April 11, 2012 by bwfcryan86 Quote
Zico Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 Good music. but too many long, pensive sequences with him driving around or going somewhere for a think about stuff Quote

Smiley Posted April 14, 2012 Author Posted April 14, 2012 War Horse. Great family film. Definitely a bit of dust in the air near the end. Quote
Uncle Albert Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest on BBC2 in a few minutes. Excellent film. Quote
barryk32 Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Watched Man On A Ledge this week. I've seen some utter utter wank recently, but this was quite good, best in a while. Bloke accused of summat he didn't do threatens to commit suicide but actually hes orchestrating a robbery as he has a birds eye view of the situation. Also I'll be watching the new release of Kill Bill but I think that deserves its own thread. Quote
