DazBob Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Watched Machine Gun Preacher t'other night. Very good. Expected it to be a B-movie filum with a title like that (in a Hobo With A Shotgun stylee) so was surprised at what it actually was. Even though it's a 2 hour filum, bits felt a bit rushed. Could've (and maybe should've) been a good 30 mins longer or could've easily been made into a mini-series. Anyway, well worth a watch. Quite moving. 7/10 Quote

Zico Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 in stark contrast Paris, Texas and Real Steel both worth a watch for different reasons - the latter is mindless, obvious stuff, but have seen worse Quote

Guest Frandsen08 Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 flew over to California yesterday, with Darren's recommendation of Rambo i decided to watch it on the plane, plugs my headphones into my laptop sits back and enjoys. Half way through and I'm watching a bloody loud scene, we're talking blood , guns, screaming explosions the full shebang, the air hostess. (massive by the way, butterface though) taps me on the shoulder i jumped a little and ripped out my headphones, rambo killing folk full blast on a fucking airplane. could i scramble and get the headphones back in could i fuck, the mute button on the laptop decides not to work all i could do was shut the laptop and wait for the sound to fade off, which seemed like it took an eternity! i just slouched back into my chair and ordered another southern comfort. cracking film though Quote
no balls Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 I finally got round to Woman in Black last Saturday after me & my mate got in. I'd seen it at the theatre so wasn't so sure whether it'd be a good idea. Have to say, I quite enjoyed it in a camp sort of American Werewolf in London kind of a way. Quote
jules_darby Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Saw Ice Age 4 in 3D yesterday Quite enjoyed it Quote

no balls Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Is that the one with Harry Potter in it? Got it ready to watch, so marks out of ten please. I thank you. He looks nothing like Harry, he's a grown up now and everything, which is the first thing you'll notice. It's by Hammer so remember the old creepy films you used to watch when your parents didn't know. It's sort of in that ilk. I enjoyed it for it's campness so I'd give it a 7. I'm no Bazza Norman though. I rarely watch films, what with my small attentions span. Quote
Pablo Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 New Breaking bad tonight, can not wait! Domino's and BB !!!! Quote
