Site Supporter MickyD Posted November 4, 2010 Site Supporter Share Posted November 4, 2010 Agreed. It's no fun when the gap between your seat and the seat in front is about 3" narrower than the distance between your arse and your kneecap! It's also no fun when, part way through your pint, you realise that it's got a scum on top consisting of 100 years of shit, dust and paint from the gaps between the wooden floor joists above your head. Generally it's a great ground; wish we could have developed Burnden similarly, but why did they stop when they'd sorted out the other sides? Pablo
Its funny how the 'shittness' of Goodison doesn't stop you turning up when your good !!!
Mounts Kipper
Its funny how the 'shittness' of Goodison doesn't stop you turning up when your good !!! That is only part of the reason, the probability is we will lose, but it is more the price, it is the same at Liverpool/Man city and Man U,yet when the price is right we take 5k to wigan 8k to blackburn etc, I would love to see us take that type of following to the big 4 lancashire clubs, because many of there fans do not realise how passionate and large a following Bolton can bring, however at ?30-50 a ticket it is never going to happen, and I do not blame fans for baulking at that price. RUREADY2ROLL
The only reason I was trying to make the game from London is to keep up my 100% league record away from home. I absolutely hate Everton since the 2 legged league cup semi final; in fact I hate the red half of theif land as well Another reason to hate the scouce teams is that we always get bad decisions given against us - NEVER in our favour. Think this thread has convinced me not to bother
tarian1979
Its a fucking horrible rat hole. A wednesday night in November will be even worse than normal. Id of turned out on a Saturday, with my Eveton fan mates, and drank most of the day. Not in on a Wednesday night. Grim Awful stadium, remember being on the back row of the lower bullons one year, literally couldnt see the dug outs because of the upper tier overhang. Shit tip round the ground too, depressing place.

Its not personal and I detest quite a lot of clubs. If you was honest with yourelf you know you get all the decisions at the rat ground and especially late winners which should never be allowed

Pablo
If you was honest with yourelf you know you get all the decisions at the rat ground and especially late winners which should never be allowed Your damn right we do, because we get behind our team. You would love that at your ground, but maybe you do get the decisions against smaller teams than yourself! Only a few weeks ago, this same subject was discussed on here, and how it gives us an edge at home. Thats the point in fans getting behind the team. Try and influence the ref ! thats something to be proud of !

leigh white
I went that 77 LC semi, but been to Goodison previous so knew what to expect. But since then all the main pubs on County Rd have been full of Bolton faces and not had any mither, apart fom a few fisticuffs outside the ground in our famous 3-2 FA cup win.
