onlyoneawalker
Did anyone else see the bloke who just "moved" the temporary barrier the GMP tried to put at each end of that little ginnell between tesco car park and the ground - it was funny as he said "fuck off I live in farnworth not blackrod" and barged through - a fair few of us followd him through and were met with baton wielding police but they actually didn't start leathering people there was too many of us but if that barrier becomes a regular fixture it will be a major pain in the arse to have to walk all the way round for folk trying to get back towards harvester etc out the east stand. Smiffs
The guy was at it again on Saturday giving a stare to the NSL because the ball went past him wen they threw it back! I saw that. Except what happened was a bloke (sat in the disabled bit at the front) stood up and hoofed the ball back onto the pitch (we were 1-0 down at the time and getting a bit of a dicking) when the sensible move would have been to simply throw it to Jussi who was about 10 foot away and trying to get the game back moving again. leigh white
To be honest, i dont mind Blackpool, its good to see a team declared a nailed on cert to get relegated proving the so called punters wrong. Had many punch ups with the lashers in years gone by. but it was all part and parcel of being a Wanderer in your youth.

tylswhite
All this barrier bollocks could be stopped if they kept the away fans in after the game, its not fecking rocket science. I reckon the police enjoy it ::
Tyldesley White
It doesnt suprise me that a barrier has been put up at the walkway to Tesco, if it's kicked off recently at the Reebok its usually been there (Stoke this season, Burnley last season) The police let both mobs off the train at the same time before the game on Saturday then whipped the camera out

I reckon the police enjoy it <img src='http://www.wanderersways.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='::::' /> I suspect (and this is only a guess) they don't/can't because with large followings comes large numbers on the train - they often want to get them packed in and off Horwich parkway pretty sharpish.... RV announced on Saturday about a train departing for Blackpool fans at 5:08 or something similar or it may be fuckall to do with that!

It isn't that much further to go the other way round plus you won't be coming into contact with the away fans and any trouble that might ensue. But of course that is not what you really want, is it? Traf
The barrier is a load of bollocks really. On Saturday, upon leaving the ground at the South East corner, I had to turn left and walk around the ground to get to the road at the front to heads towards the train station. Apparently this to stop Bolton & Blackpool's fans "bumping" into each other. By the time I'd got to the North West Corner, there were loads of Blackpool fans coming towards us and no police in sight. There was no bother there, but there so easily could have been.

Exiled Girl
No Hmm. They'd better let me through on Boxing Day, otherwise I might get very, very Home Counties with them.
no balls
I think someone else has said it. Just keep them in for 5 - 10 minutes. Anyhow, I've seen EG go all 'Home Counties' in Macedonia outside the ground & it wasn't pretty, I can tell you!
