kent_white Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 There's about 10 shops all stocking the exact same chavy shite. Originals on Churchgate is alright but it's a bit dear and the one which sold independant gear on Bridge St looks like it's shut down. Anybody got any suggestions/websites/locations to recommend?
beer_swiller Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Same where ever I go. River Island, Top Man and most the other shops must only cater for dwarfs, I tried an extra large zip up cardigan that action man would have had difficulty getting in it.

maje Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Go online to the brands own websites not chain shops ones (scotts, USC etc) most of them have sales on now. Adidas had 50% off loads of stuff yesterday
kent_white Posted December 29, 2010 Author Posted December 29, 2010 Just casual stuff that 90% of Bolton aren't wearing. Originals is a bit on the posh side for me - nice gear but a bit too dressy. Know anywhere decent in Manchester? Or which area's best to have a look around?
Danny G Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 To be honest you cant go wrong with Burton's these days, always have decent deals on and the chavs wont buy from there either
Dodgywheel Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 (edited) I've been using MandMdirect.com lately big savings on some good gear. Edited December 29, 2010 by Dodgywheel
Smiffs Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 I go round the leisure centres and swimming baths. Loads of stuff hanging about there.

Danny G Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Sole Food is good, they never have my size in though, got some nice retro stuff

Sole Food in Bolton looked like it was no more when I passed it today. Been looking at the website for the Bury shop. Like the look of those Norman Walsh trainers. Made in Bowton no less! Has anybody had a pair? Do they fall to bits or what?

Alf Hartigan Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Is Atcha Fashions up Daubhill Riviera still going? Atcha Sports is still there, you can barter with him too. To be honest, Bolton is miles better than it used to be for mens clothing.
Bigtoe Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 I use www.ASOS.com quite a bit. The missus gets loads of clobber too. I've even bought some stuff for little miss. Free delivery, free returns and theres always a bit of a sale on. Theres also Hanonshop on the web and Size? online do some clothing. Depends on what yer after. House of fraser - free delivery over ?50 and free returns or pick up free from the store.
bolty58 Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Never waste much time in getting meself to Market St. in Manc every time I get back. Clarks, Scotts etc. Everything I need and not full of meandering, aimless, pastie munching wastrels like the 'you must pay a premium' Triffid Centre. Kent, I have a photo of you in flowing robes at a S.E. Asian mosque. Surely you can buy that sort of stuff up Daubhill?
