Fuck it while we are all on the depression pills

This will help!

Not so much a match, rather an advert featuring glum Wanderers supporters.

Sunday Telegraph advert, 1998. Approx 1 minute in. Must have been a Summer advert after we'd been relegated.

.

I agree

... ---... would be more apt at the minute.

This will have been posted about 20 times on here already but it's 19 years today.

McAteer would have walked for that little kick off in first few minutes nowadays!

Listen to that fucking roar!

God we were spoilt.

Love you Bruce.

Two things i noticed, Tony Kelly in his "obscure" years and the back pass rule had not yet come in.

NSL ST worth it for roadrunner vids lone!  fanzone would benefit from this, cheap lager and britpop

fucking brilliant

Good shout lets have a campaign for roadrunner videos in Fanzone, I'm getting giddy great results great performances it's sunny weather when football people all sing together. :) We're on our way back I tell thee.

Excellent, just had the match ended, someone said "four thousand six hundred", Dave Higson replied, "four thousand six hundred?, there wer fifteen thousand from Bolton" ha ha

I went to that game.

Remember boozers we went in, eating rubbish pizza, a night bus in Oxford and a phone conversation I had in a pub we stopped in on the way home the following day.

Don't remember any of the game.

Looks like Wanderers fans are sat in what is now the home end there

Feesh and Whitlow having a Barney there.

Was that Eidurs first goal for us then??

Shirley he was Colin Todds greatest coup as manager??

Remember I missed the return fixture due being I'm hospital...i was gutted haha

Just looked at season 98-99 shocked to see we played Bury in a div 1 game can't remember them in Div 1 I'm going seriously senile.

And lost at Gigg.

I really was pissed that night!

But won 4-0 at home.

"We only laugh at Bury"

What phone conversation? Remember you wearing a Bolton shirt in a Wolves pub.

Arnie took tore them to pieces and they got really angry.

One or two of em tried scrambling over the segregation netting and basically got laughed at haha

Moody as fuck at their place.

The thrashing at our place was brilliant.

They were going apeshit when we were singing "We only laugh at Bury".

As birthday boy points out, Arnie looked like a world beater that day.

Was Colin Wanker their manager then?
