C86 Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 (edited) Great afternoon at Athy Colls with AthyWhite1958, thanks R, really appreciate the hospitality pal, we will be back! Main thing is my old man enjoyed it, felt safe, no mither and the price of the beer If you've never been then its worth an afternoon out. And they won 6-2, some good goals too. athywhite1958 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 It was good to meet up again after all these years, good to see your dad and your lad, I'm glad they enjoyed it too, you know there's always a warm welcome on't Colls, I got off there about 9.30 slightly worse for wear Quote
C86 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 I went to the 60th do and behaved myself (for once the wife said). Quote
C86 Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Colls are losing 7-5 at the mo with 25 mins to go... Quote
leigh white Posted April 1, 2014 Author Posted April 1, 2014 It finished 8-6 to Rochdale :-( How can you score 6 goals away and lose ? Quote
QFPants Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Missed the first 15 minutes, walked in at 3.15 to find it was 5-0 Quote
QFPants Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Sets Tuesday up nicely too. Tempted by Doncaster but saw us win there in the FA Cup so think FC Utd is more likely to happen Quote
Casino Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 13-1 for Chorley today. jumpers fer goalposts shite Quote
athywhite1958 Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Colls lost 4-2 at Nelson, we only have1 home game left and that is the 'flat cap derby' on Easter Monday V Atherton LR Quote

barryk32 Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Just seen the back story. Leeds fans on the way to an away match. Stopping off an a random park game seems a fucking fantastic idea to me. Quote
gonzo Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Not read this section for a while. Players and fans turning up at other matches and kicking off, lads chasing folk about with sticks and bats and teams winning 8-6 and 13-1?? Sounds ace this non league malarkey! Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Just seen the back story. Leeds fans on the way to an away match. Stopping off an a random park game seems a fucking fantastic idea to me. They're the pitches at the side of the away car park at the DW. Newcastle fans did the same last season and ended up causing a load of damage (which to be fair they had a whip round etc and more than repaid). Quote
leigh white Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 Only doing one more non league ground this season on Easter Monday at Harrogate. Quote

C86 Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Should have a WW Non-League day at Athy Colls next season Quote
EyesRight Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Over 4000 fans at Gigg Lane for Chorley v FC last night, 2000 approx were Chorley. They chucked away a 2 goal lead to draw 2-2 but still in driving seat to go up with 4 games to go. I bet it was more fun than Doncaster Quote
Casino Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 I bet it was more fun than Doncaster why would jumpers for goalposts between two teams you don't support be better than watching your ream win away? #shakesheadatkidstoday Quote

fester58 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 (edited) was there last night a cracking atmosphere between the 2 best teams in the league, a superb attendance and following from chorley. its got to be said that fc utd are still horrible munich bastards singing about busby. there no9 deserves a career threathning injury what a complete wanker he was, he covered more miles on the pitch chasing the ref over every decision than he did for the ball. was a great advert for non league football al beit at gigg lane Edited April 9, 2014 by fester58 Quote
