Cool name and all, but being called Vince shouldn't justify wages like that. Despite all the good he did for us, Big Sam also left us with a legacy of ageing players on huge contracts. The 24-year-old was available after being released from his contract with Cordoba, who play in the third tier of Spanish football. The move comes after Bolton had midfielder Ivan Campo ruled out for up to 10 weeks with a broken foot. "We have signed Oscar to strengthen numbers in the crucial midfield area," Bolton boss Sam Allardyce told the club's official website. He added: "He has played most of his career in the lower leagues in Spain and will mainly get his chance in the reserves and potentially in the first team later this season. "He has a great attitude to training and with the right application can develop his career in England." He left less than 5 months later.
