likewise, on a different day to that, they could've buried us 5-2 with their attacking play which was immense at times - silva is as good a player as I've seen at our place and once aguero gets up to pace them two will score loads between them

 

def played some good stuff in the 2nd half - if we can boost the squad with SWP and NGog and get Tuncay in and Holden back we'll do alright

Absolute shockers from Jussi and Knight.

 

On a positive note, I thought Petrov had his best game in a White shirt. Even had a smile on his face.

 

Superb technique from Klasnc also.

 

Not many will score 2 past City this season.

Good effort but poor defending on all three goals for me. Jussi was poor for the first goal. Barry was free on the edge of the area on the second. One player on the edge of the box for corners stops that happening. Wasn't quick enough to close Barry down either. Knight was at fault for the third, poor positioning to be the wrong side of dzeko.

 

Having said that we caused them problems in the second half and played well overall. Pleased with performance but we need to cut out silly errors.

Deserved to lose, great goals from Barry and Klasnic, Silva was immense, we played well after we made it 3-2, but it wasn't to be.

 

Best player for Bolton - Petrov, some superb crosses and a great assist for Klasnic's powerful strike.

Jussi was awful on the 1st

 

2nd was just a great strike, he wasn't on the edge of the box so I can forgive not closing him down

 

3rd goal was purely down to Knight, he cost us a goal yet again

 

We did quite well overall, Cahill was great, Reo Coker did well. Petrov played well, less impressed with Eagles and for me Klasnic doesn't do enough outside the box although inside it he is awesome. He is the closest player to McGinlay we've had since the great man left.

Really disappointed with the silly mistakes. But encouraging for the rest of the season.

I thought Klasnic looked too lightweight today as we definitely need another striking option.

Hopefully will get at least 2points in next two games.

Mark Davies looked lively, passed it around nicely and ran at players, Pratley messed up a good move then fouled Milner, with players like SWP, we'll have much better options, I don't think Muamba or Reo-Coker had good games, well to be fair, City's passing was slick and precise and it was getting them success through the middle and donw the flanks.

 

Silva and Dzeko were the difference.

 

Aguero should have scored the header.

 

Knight was abysmal, mistakes, long ball hoofs and almost gave away a penalty when A.Johnson got passed him with ease, and he just slid on the floor leaving his leg out, I really do not rate him one bit, if it wasn't for his height...
