gonzo
im sitting on my usual spot, right on top of that fence. im fucking torn,as i know its not as simple as simply getting rid.we have a transfer window approaching and a million players out of contract in janurary.who fucking hell is going to want to come and have to deal with all that now? the only thing i do know is that coyle wont walk, and the only time the board will sack him,is probably when its too late. my god. Ani
And I'll tell you something else. If any of them broke a sweat today I'll show my arse. If anyone off WWays had played today I guarantee that they would have had to be carried off with busted guts. Rant over (unless something else comes up). so you are saying the players were not trying ? blaming pride and passion is desperate. lack of ability organisation structure and direction are the issue

Mounts Kipper
I don't want Coyle sacked because I think he could become a decent manager given time however he is making many and consecutive bad decisions he badly needs an experienced hand at his side and we should ask Oneil to come in to help Coyle on a 6month contract to steady the ship, pay him top dollar and a bigger bonus if he keeps us up. If we go down we should give Coyle 1 year to attempt to bring us back up as we will badly need his positivity and enthusiasm if we do drop. Juan.Kerr
No. I'm not saying they weren't trying. I'm saying they were left with no idea how to change a game we were never going to get back into, after they had scored. Because they didn't have a leader - OC or SKD they were strolling about in a daze. Fact remains that the effort, with the posible exception of Eagles was non existant. Mounts Kipper
Come on MK, you dont think O'Neil and Coyle would go for that, I don't know but we have to think out of the box, if coyle agrees the club could offer 2 million to ONeil, it might just work. Traf
I doubt the club can feasibly afford to sack him anyway. Can we afford to go down?
xxxxxx
The thing that tipped if for me was his change for Muamba for Pratley when we were 1-0 down. Also, he left RC right back instead of bringing on Steinsson. That's not bad luck, that's stupidity.

Site Supporter barryk32 Posted November 27, 2011 Site Supporter Share Posted November 27, 2011 Had my vote and its the obvious one. In his post match interview he listed about 36 players who can play right back, without mentioning Gretnar. He was wheeled out as the man to take us forward but 2 years down the line we are in a far far weaker position than I have ever seen us in the Premier League. Megson was sacked whilst in a 5 game unbeaten run. We haven't managed to avoid losing 5 games all season. Sheffield Wednesday are looking good for promotion and it will be a dark day when Megsons back in a Reebok dugout showing he has forgot more than Coyle knows. birch-chorley
lets have it right O neil and Hughes aint going to do no Red Adair job at our place, if you want Coyle out then take your pick from Gary Flitcroft, Ian Dowie or Kenny Jackett. And for that reason I will stick.
magic legs
Our only hope is that Blackburn and Wigan stay below us and we creep above Wolves. The 5 games left to play against those 3 will settle our season. We'll need 2 wins 3 draws / 3 wins 2 draws at least though.

Butterfly
It would certainly help financially. You are right with that.It costs much less money to pay the bills at Barnsley than it does at a Premier League club.

tarian1979
Actually, I know and you all know deep down, theirs only one man for the job, and it's big Sam, might not be pretty but it got results. We've been fucked since the minute he went. hmmm hes got arguabley better team at west ham at present than our shower and he'll have cash to spend when they come up

I see it being wigan bolton and wolves at the moment. We need one of the promoted teams to drop like a stone ideally Blackburns next 3 home games are swansea, Bolton and Sunderland, see them getting 7 points
tarian1979
Part of me thinks best option is to gamble on lee clark. Not sure if its the right time though, could be an out of the frying pan into the fire type appointment, lack of experience. Then again, we're only going one place at the moment
glossopWANDERER
i voted to keep him simply because i can t see us being able to get anyone better in. if steve bruce becomes available i can see us taking him if coyle does get the boot. in an ideal i would take big sam back but aint going to happen.
