birch-chorley Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 (edited) They said this around this time last year and we had the hottest October on record hitting over 30 c, we then had a properly dry winter and the hose pipe bans came into force in spring beffore having the wettest summer in over 100 years. You can guarantee one thing, no fucker has a bloody clue whats going on. We might as well disband the MET office. Edited September 23, 2012 by birch-chorley Quote

stevieb Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Not be long until we can do the balloon marble test then But only if we get enough snow to comfortably hold the balloons to prevent flat bottoms right? Quote
gonzo Posted September 24, 2012 Author Posted September 24, 2012 Ive seen loads of Squirrels whilst walking the mutt recently, which is a sign of a freezing winter. If you happen to see a line of ants...if they are going in a straight line and not meandering this alos means its going to be a bad winter... Fred the weather man was on about these certain types of berrys, that only ever bloom in sepetember,if a freezing winter is en route...they have bloomed already. im not going out till march. Quote
no balls Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I was expecting it to be a lot worserer this morning, so there's a positive. Plus, the mutt is on a sleep over with the grandparents so I didn't have to walk her this morning. Gord Bless em! Quote
Smiffs Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I reckon the cows mooing in a field have a better chance of forecasting than the weathermen. It's shitting down for the next 3 days. Daisy told me so. Quote
