buckhurstwhite Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 What were their names again? Suzy and Lucy! Quote
MickyD Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 That he still doesn't know his best eleven yet says a lot. I'm trying to think of some positives from an away game where you score 4 and lose. Quote

bolton va va Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 To anyone sensible who was there today.......Did the conditions affect the game much ? I know they were the same for both sides, but being 2 down after 6 minutes is going to put any team on the back foot. , especially if the state of the pitch had something to do with it. Quote
jazza Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Satan... You are the legend. Your Hawking videos are worth an oscar Quote

Peterborough worked out straight away that if they ran at us the conditions made it hard for anyone to get a tackle in without fouling or staying on their feet, this made our defence look really inept. We finally worked it out when sordell and afobe came on and later petrov as they started to run at their defence, it made is look slightly better than inept, too little too late though. Quote
jules_darby Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Does anyone know about Ngog's absence yet? Quote
EyesRight Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 In a pub in Peterborough, discussing the last time we scored four and lost? Home and away? Malcolm? Quote

Ahh right.....It sounds like the conditions did affect the game, but that P/boro adapted to them much better than we did. Quote

ZiggyStardust Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 In a pub in Peterborough, discussing the last time we scored four and lost? Home and away? Malcolm? Asked my old man - he reckons we lost 5-4 away at West Brom early 60's Quote
gonzo Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 West Brom away was 4-4 as was Crewe before that...in recent times.. Cant ever remember a 5-4 or more... Quote
mickbrown Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Those who went witnessed a bit of history then. We're still utterly shit though Quote
gonzo Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Ziggys Dad and LW... Tis correct.. Franny Lee also scored 2 pens that day....Wyn Davies got the other. Quote
Rembrandt Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 5-4 home to Sheff Weds back in 1957. Omen for Boxing Day ? Mind you, Lofty got two and the whole current team put together woulldn't equal him. November 1969, 6-4 home to QPR. Think I wasn't at either. Quote

Wrong tactics in first half tried to pass as per the Charlton game when the ball would hardly roll Quote
RUREADY2ROLL Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Just got back after dropping off Pink Cheshire and Hillbilly - they are off back to Hillbilly country for a ruby murray All this talk of conditions effecting the game is garbage; we were just dogshit and especially Warnock, Knight and Mears - Andrews was attrocious first half but improved a lot second and had a decent game just based on the second. The rest of the midfleld were dogshit all the game. Afobe looked dangerous when he came on but against a crap defence and I though SKD did as much as you could expect. Really cant see us geting near the play offs with this bunch of gutless tossers; just need to ensure we dont get involved at the other end Quote
Arrested development Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 one of many numerous disapointments this season. No point dwelling on it. let's just just forget this shite game and move on to Wednesday. Quote
Guest Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 I am not a freedman fan I'm afraid he's not for us First time I've seen a 5-4, but it was only spasmodically a thrilller Quote
