Casino Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 success being promotion with 2 years, and bringing through our own youngsters Quote
Casino Posted February 8, 2013 Author Posted February 8, 2013 (edited) oh aye, i'm a fan, so he gets my vote he's got a massive task putting right the previous wrongs, but he's big enough to pull it off i'm proper excited about the next few years Edited February 8, 2013 by Casino Quote
miamiwhite Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 i'm a fan of Dougal's. He's assembling a decent squad and we'll see the dividends within 12 months.....................as long as we don't get relegated, then he'll bring us straight back up unbeaten next season Quote
frank_spencer Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 From looking at the job he and his team did at palace I'd say he's gonna be a good un. Quote
gonzo Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 From looking at the job he and his team did at palace I'd say he's gonna be a good un. Thought that tonight mate. Looked at the fight their team had,and they played some cracking stuff in that second half. For Dougie to leave the team he built whilst at the top of the table, aswell as a bunch of fans that adore him....he must know what hes doing! Quote
Biggish Dave Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Yes, will be better than any of our last 3 permanent managers Quote
bolton va va Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 No doubt he's a better manager than Coyle. Happy with the improvement in players who were pisspoor pre-Dougie, youngsters getting a chance, interesting (young & cheap ) signings, & better performances which should hopefully turn into more points soon. Don't know if we'll go up in 2 years (there'll be some more bad days during the rebuilding) but i'm optimistic again with Dougie. Quote
tomski Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 100% behind him. He's inherited a huge mess. He will get it right. Quote

bwfc87 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 I'm optamistic he'll do well, only gripe I've got is not going for it more, at times, against poorer teams and not getting the 2-3 goals we need to win because we are just not keeping clean sheets. I like the fact he seems to have a game-plan for the better opposition we've played this season i.e Everton, Cardiff, Leicester Quote
Juan.Kerr Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 He'll do. there has been an improvement in performances since he took over. It's a bit late to challenge this season, but next season we'll be reet. Quote
SalfordOriginal Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 No matter what we are going down again When??? 2023??? Quote
THunter Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 I'll go off results, thanks. So far they aren't good enough. The same shower who reckoned that Megson was the greatest ever Bolton manager are getting behind Freedman. It doesn't inspire confidence. The Freedman/Megson is the greatest mob have formed an opinion and are now looking for reasons to support that. I'll do it the other way round. Facts first. Quote
HomerJay Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 How much shite can you fit in one post? Quote
kent_white Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 As long as the fuckwits with no sense of the bigger picture don't hound him out first. Feel like we have a sense of direction for the first time since bid Sam left. Just leave him the fuck alone for a couple of seasons whilst he sorts the mess out! Quote
Traf Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 He'll get us promoted next season. Back to the Championship, that is. Quote
Ratwhite Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 No matter what we are going down again I love you...... Happy Saturday, Sunday, Monday etc In Douglas we trust COYWM Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 (edited) I really want to buy into the DF revolution but the jury is still out he's not ruthless enough for me the likes of ZK keeps getting a shirt Eagles has gone so far backwards its untrue and does not deserve a shirt, Bogdans concedes too many goals to shots at him and with the quality at our disposal were not creating nearly enough. Gumbo Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 He's closed the circus, so that's a good start for me! Now he just needs to remove some of the clowns who are still hanging around. Quote

jules_darby Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 So far I'd say No over Yes if I had to guess Not convinced at all. Not saying he will be a failure, cos I don't know yet But that's the closest probability for me He's got good and bad points but I'm far from convinced Balanced answer I'd like to think, before the blind fath or doomsayers start either way Quote
