no balls
Personally I think all you can taste is the brine and with the oil, it takes forever to drain so water is far more convenient and also doesn't taint
Youri McAnespie
Some people like the salty/fishy flavour (ooer) that oil or brine imparts, others like the 'clean' version in spring water - it's a personal taste thing. I've been told it's so full of mercury (the element not the dead singer) and other weird stuff that the oil/salt content should be the least of one's worries. I couldn't care less, eating tonnes of it - but some advice says eating more than half a tin a day (on average) is pretty bad for you. Youri McAnespie
A mate told me on the big 'factory' fishing fleets from Japan, whom use nets, they have modern toilet blocks onboard and everything, but in places like Mauritius and anywhere else they pole and line fish the boats are tiny and the bog is merely a builder's bucket on deck... Â They mainly sling the collected piss in the sea, but he said, if they've had a particularly boring or unfruitful day (or if the catch is destined for an unpopular country - like Britain) they will tip the piss into the hold onto the tuna - this is done purely for devilment/out of spite - FACT! Youri McAnespie
There's some good deals for any burgeoning Real Ale twats at Home Bargains (again) - loads of different 500ml bottles from 99p up to £1.59 apiece. I had a few bottles of Wychwood Goliath at £1.19 on Friday - quite a pleasant drop.  I'm moving into a 'Stella is catpiss' direction of late, is this one for the Owd C*nts thread? I never thought I'd view 'export' lager as being one and the same as stuff I've always considered catpiss - Fosters, Carling, Carlsberg etc. but it's not something I'd choose to drink these days...  Oh aye, for the ladies (or sham 'men' ) also at Home Bargains - 4x500ml Strongbow Pear are £2.99. Youri McAnespie
£1 a bottle Tomos Watkin's Cwrw Haf Ale 500ml 4.2% - amid the discounted hairsprays and jars of cooking sauce on the ambient Whoopsies at Burnden Asda near the bread and eggs.  £1 a bottle for the vaguely named 'Berry' Strongbow 500ml glass bottles in the booze section.  Some half decent (as in won't blind you) bottles of Cava for a £5er as well.  Edit: Oh aye, it shuts in 51 minutes.  And the ale is from Taffland, so it's probably comprised 90% of welsh pisspots' piss (if the miserable spiteful fuckers knew it was destined for sale in England that is) tastes alreet though. Eavesy
As a shopper at Tesco, I have no idea what is good or bad value But you only do one shop cause they do everything, therefore you save petrol £££ by not doing about 5 shops at aldi et al and the club card vouchers save even further ££££ - therefore your saving plenty of money. But shhhh don't tell these idiots who think they are saving 20 p on beans is worth the extra £4 in petrol by going aldi
