Stewards were being filmed while removing the guy. Steward who gave the finger punched man filming him. Left visible marking to head and damaged his phone. Chief steward said its all clear on CCTV and he's been sacked. Comes back at the near full time to say he's just under investigation and CCTV isn't clear. Begged not to put footage on you tube,

Hope the club realise just how much their reputation is on the line if they don't take full action against the steward(s) involved, especially so soon after the Reading incident.

He was quality, don't know him from adam, but I hope he comes back. Fair play to him, at least he was trying to get a bit of support going & fair play to the stewards, he was causing no harm & was left alone even though he stood for most of the second half.

Saw it happen. I sit in the West Lower not a million miles from the corner flag. The stewards involved in that incident were an absolute disgrace. 3 or 4 of them went running mob handed into the stand to deal with the "incident". I couldn't tell what had started it but there's something seriously wrong with the culture that they working in when they feel they can act like that, when all they were dealing with was 1 bloke sat in his seat. I saw the fattish bald headed one throw the punch & then he disappeared down the tunnel. He then came out & was being walked along the side of the pitch by what looked like a supervisor - As the North/West stand crowd started shouting that he was a wanker, he put he stuck the vs up at them & his "supervisor" grabbed the back of his jacket & pointed him to carry on walking.

 

We don't get much of that where I sit but it totally pissed me off. Who the fuck do these goons think they are & who the fuck is empowering them to act like that. The guy that was being punched by the people employed primarily for health & safety purposes is a bloody paying customer.

 

I hope he complains - not that anything will change I'm sure.
