Youri McAnespie Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 (edited) What's happened to Seal? Has he had a 'shins-ectomy' or sommat? Got rid of those acne scars as well I see, vain bugger. Edited September 24, 2013 by Youri McAnespie Quote
Sweep Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 wonder which would cost him more the tax he would have to pay, or the losses of his football business? It doesn't really matter eithr way, as he's not going to do it. Perhaps he doesn't know much about how to run a club and would rather not. Why do you think he would be so good at it? Quote
no balls Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Why do you think he would be so good at it? There's a few on here reckon they would be. How hard can it be? Quote

Horwich Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 I dread to think what this board will be like once the financial results are announced in about 6 weeks Quote
Sweep Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 I dread to think what this board will be like once the financial results are announced in about 6 weeks They aren't going to make glorious reading, we already know that. I'm wondering how much our debt will have increased by in the last 12 months, I'm going to have a guess at a nice round £10M Quote

I don't neccessarily, I just wonder if PG is any good at the job and if ED couldn't do it better (saving himself £500,000 per annum in the bargain) I think I'd like my finger on the pulse if my hard-won fortune was disappearing Just my thought Edited September 24, 2013 by boltondiver Quote
smeghead83 Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Not another financial report, 130 million debt becomes 160 then and the club blame it on the last regime. I can't help but be pessimistic about our finances. Quote
Traf Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 It's all bullshit bingo numbers anyway. The money doesn't really exist. Quote
Sweep Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Not another financial report, 130 million debt becomes 160 then and the club blame it on the last regime. I can't help but be pessimistic about our finances. At the end of the day, I don't really care if the next report says that we're £50M in debt or £200M in debt. Our dent has been spiralling out of control for years, so I fully expect it to have increased again. Whilst most of the debt is underwritten by ED, and apparently he's never going to call it in (hmmmm) then we don't really know the overall situation, so there is really not much point in worrying about it Quote

Carlos Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 We are already more than £10,000 in debt for every season ticket holder. 10 grand. It makes no fucking odds anymore. Quote

There is no way he could contemplate full-on direct involvement. Quote
smeghead83 Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Maybe uncle Eddie will keep going til we turn a profit, like a compulsive gambler who doesn't know when to stop. Quote

Traf Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 I'm dissapointed that you've not used the Twixonomix method No Twix required. These are phantom Twixes. However, here's a sneak preview of next season's budget: We can't even afford Twix or its cheaper Aldi substitute Jive. Quote

Youri McAnespie Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 (edited) I'm going to admit it, in my youth, well almost youth, I was moved to put help someone put spraycan to cloth It was in the aftermath of the 'Frandsen Sold, Todd Quits' event, I procured the material, no spunk stained sheets, proper cut to measure cloth from Robin Hood Fabrics opposite The Little John (is the name significance of those coincidental btw?) Anyway, I felt a right berk when it was reluctantly unveiled and soon, like a fair-weather rat deserted the cause!. It said 'Sack the Board' btw. Edited September 24, 2013 by Youri McAnespie Quote
