That book will all be about the football stuff anyway. Stuff you could probably write down yourself if could be arsed.

All the best stuff happened out and about with the fans

That's what I miss most, the football was usually just a blur that got in the way.

Saw a picture of a book yesterday that's apparently all about our euro adventures?

Not seen anything else about it...

Is it in the club shop? Is it shit?

It's in the cluib shop - hadn't heard of it before I saw it.

Only read the opening bit. Seems a good read so far.

In the space of 18 years Bolton Wanderers rose from mid-table in the Fourth Division to the UEFA Cup. With the help of world renowned stars they qualified twice for the competition, drawing with Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena before beating Atletico Madrid. Their UEFA Cup adventure was an 18-match journey that started with murder in Bulgaria and ended in controversy in Lisbon. Along the way there were tales of burning stadiums in Istanbul, escape from armed police in Belgrade, brutality in Spain and Sam Allardyce's encounter with jellyfish, together with the story of Ivan Campo's dog. This book chronicles it all, with a foreword from Kevin Davies and further exclusive contributions from Allardyce, Gary Megson, Phil Gartside, Kevin Nolan, El-Hadji Diouf, Stelios Giannakopoulos, Ricardo Vaz Te, Ali Al Habsi, Gavin McCann, Joey O'Brien, Nicky Hunt, Henrik Pedersen and more.

Chris Flanagan has been a journalist for 10 years and was present at all 18 of Bolton Wanderers' matches in the UEFA Cup as a lifelong supporter of the club. He graduated from Oxford University and has since spent many years travelling to more than 30 countries watching sport. He has reported on Amir Khan fights in the United States and rugby league in Australia, as well as writing about his experiences of European football in Hungary and the depths of the Russian winter. In 2014 he was nominated for the daily sports journalist of the year at the British Regional Press Awards, for his work at the Lancashire Telegraph.

Yep, I do.

Here's the thing though, the actual story is better than Bolton drawing at Bayern or beating Atletico, it was more about the trips.

Bollocks to the football, seriously, the story was the fact that more people than watched us playing Darlington were in Sunny Beach the day before the game etc.
