I know Rooney divides opinion but in terms of graft and wanting to win i think there is plenty to admire about the ugly, scouse-munich twat!!! Quote

Bonkers Cracking game to finish that season 3-2 with 10 men Vs Everton at the Reebok. A proper barnstormer, recall it with much fondness. Going bonkers when Stelios scored the third. Looking at the team that afternoon we had so much quality and guile, with fair chunk of grit that plenty teams couldn't cope with. Jaaskelainen, Ben Haim, Jaidi, N'Gotty, Gardner, Okocha, Hierro, Speed, Giannakopoulos, Davies, Diouf Subs: Poole, Candela, Nolan, O'Brien, Vaz Te. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/4525095.stm Hard to imagine the club will reach such heights again in my lifetime.
