The team that finishes 3rd goes into the semi finals, 4th place is in qtr finals against the 7th placed side, probably Chesterfield. So Halifax definitely need a result.

Everton look to have the easiest run in though, and I fear Leeds could pull out a win somewhere. Burnley have Villa again and no games which you'd really fancy them to win.
May 8, 20224 yr Pleased for Wycombe, good fans who get another Wembley day out. Don’t like MK and the shithousery of Lewington on the pitch and their chairman off it. A local game to the soulless stadium for me now next year. Edited May 8, 20224 yr by bolton in bedford
May 8, 20224 yr I'd be happy if Wycombe made it, simply because they wete cheated into relegation by the deliberate foot dragging of Derby last year. It'd also mean Sunderland fail ... again. Which would just make me laugh. Edited May 9, 20224 yr by Dr. Feelgood

He suits the small club mentality, us against the world, maybe at a lower championship club hoping to compete on low budgets like Cardiff/Birmingham/Rotherham/Bristol City, but most clubs in the championship would be too posh to have him as manager, they're mostly playing proper football that isn't his style.

Hopefully Leeds get a result against Chelsea, can't believe they've got a Prem game 3 days before FA Cup Final. Although it wouldn't surprise me if they were more focused on getting points at Leeds than winning a cup.
May 8, 20224 yr I'd like Burnley to go down. Watching them trying to pay a £65m loan would be piss funny.

May 8, 20224 yr MK's L1 targets will be many of the same ones ours will be seeing as we are very similar in philosophy & play style. Twine goes to the champ that's a healthy bit of cash to get a jump on everybody in terms of recruitment this summer, reckon they'll go up through the autos next season. Soulless club but got a decent project on the go there.
