Its a funny one all this for me. Does that team and pep deserve that? fucking right they do. They've steamed over everyone this season, regardless of whether you think their means are questionable.

As for the fans, I have the same feeling about them as the DMB's if I'm honest. The genuine fans that turn out week in week out, well fair play, enjoy your victory. What really gets me is the growing number of Bolton born blues that never ever turn out, they annoy me just as much as the Bolton born rags that don't either. We've got our own proud founder member club that you bastards should be supporting.

They're actually the reason I've just left the pub to come home, can't be arsed seeing them prance around acting like the most die hard followers of a cause they don't even contribute to in any way.

As an aside, @MancWanderer, your nephew is in his element at the moment. Doubt he'll remember much of it by the morning 😂

An interesting read, but genuine question, how does anyone know?  So many transfer fees aren't reported.

And surely salaries have to be taken into account, otherwise someone could sign Kane next summer and the cost is "nil", but it would be far from that.

City already had De Bruyne etc so they didn't need to spend big during that time frame, but where City have done really well is selling on players - they always seem to get good money for the players they move on and the figures are NET spend - i.e. purchases less sales.

Wouldn’t want the saddos anyway mate. I’ve long given up educating Bolton’s more stupid folk.

Proper elite…if anyone questions city fans…you dont get football.

what a team….and that guard of honour for everyone else involved…class.

Not really. Easy for winners to be magnanimous. If they had lost on done it then that would have been class.

Standard that mate.

The cry arsing from them all is nothing short of spectacular.

🤣🤣

On the football pitch, Liverpool have been the biggest victims of the Abu Dhabi oil money. It would have been a glorious era for them winning 5 or 6  Premier League titles rather than just the one .It is understandable they aren't chuffed.

Jesus christ, you must be in a bad place to be siding with the scousers, given your obvious affiliations 😉😂

First time its ever been done in a CL final…so yes….fair fucks.

Whatever you think about the City money, you have to respect the way Pep runs his teams. Different class. He doesn’t allow ego. And that’s part of why he’s such a success

The Premier League is as bent as taking oil money. Just money.

Same here mate. Dislike City thanks to their bell end fans that live near me and the shit they give me about BWFC

That said fair play they’ve battered everyone this year so deserve it. Just glad that I’m thousands of miles away in a different time zone and don’t have to listen to their gloating and the bleating reds. Happy for my bro who travelled to the game but balls to the rest of them

i can imagine that the turncoat is in a bit of a mess now. I’ll prob see him at his dads next weekend

the Guardian frame many things, but hardly this, it’s clear for all the see when they left the stadium after the Arab scored. You can criticise one thing without condoning Hamas.

As for Verona, taunting a young footballer who died 6 months earlier.. Christ that’s awful.

I hear the place is beautiful though

Yes mate. They used to give it to Napoli fans when many had died from cholera. Verona are despised in Naples.

Dunno how Inter didn't equalise, but Foden should have sewn it up.

Italian football is consistent though- consistently tedious. Boring, moaning, shithousing, diving, shirtpulling etc etc.

Well done City.

We don't agree on everything then :D

A cleverly thought out defensive strategy from the "farmers" (FFS, from one of the most heavily industrialised cities in Italy - there's some numb fuckers about) which kept them in with a shout against arguably the finest football team currently on the planet. Interesting to think what might have happened if Inter had equalised?

Very glad that City won for England and to shove it up those red bastards down the road but, City hardly went through them 'like a flock of seagulls' did they Gonzo?

Yes inter took city all the way and can consider themselves unlucky however the upshot is they lost

Yes 3 Italian clubs in the finals but people forget them it’s about winning the trophies and like I said other day check the records on Italian clubs winning champions league & UEFA cup in the last 10 plus years

still lagging behind England, Spain & Germany however they do create a good atmosphere give them that👍

Ferguson won with Gary Neville, Phil Neville and Nicky Butt

They also had David Beckham, Jaap Stam, York and Cole. Hardly a team of also-rans ffs. That team was one of the best of all time and won title after title 🤦‍♂️

I give up on folk who cant understand peps influence on football. Its all the way to grass roots.
