When will this playing out from the back malarkey end?

That Sunderland goal was ridiculous.

Its a curse on modern football.

I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

One of the most idiotic trends in football especially when a good percentage of the teams haven't got the players to do it.

Play to your strengths

It's just an evolution of the Tiki Taka style Barca played under pep and won everything going. Successful tactics in any sport will be copied until something more successful comes along.

The four four fucking two style of football is long gone

Not sure the formation completely dictates how the ball is played from the back.

Aye, agree. Comical watching it times. Go route one ffs

Or mix it. Be open to change. It’s still 11v11 so there is a gap somewhere

1-1 within two minutes

Just watched Cheltenham’s second. Portsmouth tries playing it out and robbed in the area. He had ample time to put his foot through the ball.

Lovely result

2 points behind with 2 games in hand 👌

Beltin result. COYWM 👏

Was flicking around IPTV following the goals today’s. Some cracking away followings in the FA cup today. Almost like the cup is alive again. Maybe away ties is the way to go

Derby are the ones. Won 9 in 11.

If it’s taking you five minutes for a piss then you should probably be seeing a doctor 😉

Tbf I don’t think that’s ever changed. Even when we were in the Premier League it seemed every home FA Cup game would draw as many away fans as home (partly because of our lot not turning up, but you get my drift). Cheaper tickets and different grounds.

When Bolton started off doing it it was painful, but I do think we are good at it now. Your always at risk of a big fuckup but if you've got the players to do it then I think it's better than hoofing it. I think teams underestimate how important the DM is in dropping in to take it off the keeper or CBs. Sheehan is so good at that. So nimble and can get away from pressure. Thomasson has started to get better at it , doesn't hold it for as long.

Absolutely. Its a fine art.

But you have to be good at it.

My lads under 10s are not :D

Never getting a better chance this

Not against doing it but if you take the Sunderland 2nd goal conceded that needed a twat up the pitch and they don’t score. That simple. Just needs to have a bit of balance.

Villa started with empty seats 🎵

Quite. The odd longer one to keep your opponent guessing.

Had a feeling that not both of our near rivals would win.
