January 15, 20242 yr Watch a good part of Lens v PSG last night. Think thats my 4th French game of the season. The standard is pretty good. Atmosphere last night was unbelievable, a proper cauldron. Lens were ace in first half, highest press Ive ever seen but they couldn't sustain it. They missed a pen and had a bloke sent off and that was that. PSGs quality told in the end but that pen goes in it could've been different. Few years ago I was in the blinded farmers league brigade and thought the prem was the be all and end all. Watched loads of Italian footy last season and this as well as Ligue 1 for research purposes. Farmers league my arse. Prem still reigns supreme for Entertainment and our elite are better than any other league on the planet. ....but further down theres no difference. Atmospheres are better on the continent and technically theres fuck all in it. Put City and Liverpool in the French league and theres no difference.
