I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Watched Burnley going down and makes me wonder about our prospects inasmuch that Kompany and Evatt want to play more or less the same way and yet at the top level it gets punished time and time again. Burnley have some very good, very young players - and with the parachute payments should be able to keep them - and I think they'll go back up next season a little wiser, but I think there are lessons for Evatt in there somewhere.

Bloody hell you're worried about how we'll perform in the Premier League a full week before we have a playoff final we need to win to be promoted to the league below that?! You really need to calm down.

I'm very calm. I won't be during the final but I was just wondering what happens if we go up and how we might progress from there. Obviously we aren't anywhere near that point yet but there's no harm in thinking about it unless you have a problem with that? Either way, I certainly don't have a problem with it and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one on here who wonders what our future holds. You need to relax and spare yourself the trauma of worrying about what other people choose to think about amigo. In case you hadn't noticed, this is an internet chat forum where folk are encouraged to share their thoughts and opinions - that is mine and if it upsets you maybe the internet's not the right place for you? There's a lot more worrying stuff on the internet that my humble opinion to get wound up about - human Therians for example.

Crack on. It seems there's little point in pondering our Premier League survival while still a League One team but if you want to I suppose there's no harm in it. I've pondered on it for 2 minutes and don't worry we comfortably survive our first PL season, sneak into the Champions League in our third and I'm currently worrying about how we handle Real Madrid in the final the year after.

I was more thinking about trying to play out from the back like City/Barca with L1 standard players TBH - or in Burnley's case playing in the Prem with Championship standard defenders. Same principle.

Real are a bit further down the line.

I'm pretty amazed that so many teams are playing out from the back as there are so many mistakes, I guess there are stats beyond my understanding that say it's a good idea though. Every week teams seem to give away ridiculous goals.

I don't think we're too far off for matching half of the Championship right now and would need a significant upgrade to get further but as a club we seem to be building in a planned, sustainable fashion so I think we will get there eventually.

Aye, my dad too. Best header of a ball he's ever seen.

Believe it or not (Christ, who am I quoting? Don't believe it) at about the time the mighty Wyn was nodding them in for fun for us, there was a craze amongst young 'uns to wear what were then termed 'miners helmets' (just a plain old hard hat these days).

Must have seen a hundred with 'Wyn Davies' hand painted on them on The Embankment.

Last one is Leicester, as I'm going to bed 😃

I saw that Leicester had won the most Championship titles with 7

Anyone that things we are as rigid as Burnley re playing it out from the back simply hasn't been watching us play for the past 3 months.

Been watching the women's FA cup final.

Was thinking, as half time approached, how poor it was as a spectacle, then Toone smashes in a pearler.

St Pauli won 3-1 , Dapo got two goals & will be gracing the top German tier next season . Chuffed for the lad , do they owe us some bonus money because of their promotion?

Norwich Leeds started off as a borefest, went downhill for a while and eventually fizzled out from there finishing a predictable 0 - 0. Unbelievably cagey first leg and can't imagine why Norwich in particular, who ended up with just one shot OT didn't go for it.

Baggies Saints marginally more exciting but not by much.

Utd down to their last 40 players and still no sign of Shoretire.

Casemiro can't be arsed, lads just strolling about ball watching haha

Leeds fan allegedly slashed at Norwich.

Just seen an interesting fact- following Crawley's semi-final win, there will be only one league club never to have appeared at Wembley.

Who is it?

Think I read the same fact so I won't spoil it.

They came close last year though 😉

😁

There's 4 of the 92 not appeared at new Wembley:

Accrington, Blackburn, Colchester and Ipswich.

We were definitely done over regarding him.
