Same as every recent qualification campaign. Coast through to the finals and come unstuck when we have to play the proper teams.

I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

This time will be different. Just football. No campaigning, eco warrior shite or rainbow rabble rousing.

Just football. Hallelujah.

With Tuchel playing mind games with Bellingham, Grealish, Foden etc and with Henderson unlikely to play in the WC, Im wondering what the England team will look like by the time we face better opposition.

Probably a load of blokes wearing England kits.

Booted off at Salford with anti-Neville pitch invasion.

Lincoln are going to be a threat up at the top all season I reckon. Massive team and turn the entire game into set pieces.

So weird us not having a game today, so I'm a Vale fan for the day.

My yank mate came over from Arizona for uni, met a fella and he's a Vale fan, they've split up and she's now hooked on supporting a shit team. Helps they're playing Wiggin.

Wiggin down to 10, excellent stuff.

They won 1-0.

Aye and apparently they ran out of pies before kick off, she almost hates Wigan as much as me now.

Looks like my inkling/prediction that Stockport won’t be up there this season was a way off. Very much looks like they and Cardiff will be up there.

See Plymouth lost again, after looking like they were getting going. Luton lost in Wilshire’s first game and Blackpool conceded an equaliser in the 99th minute to keep them bottom of the league 😂.

This league looks closer and closer after every weekend - there really doesn’t look like a standout team. Beat Cardiff on Saturday and all of a sudden we’re starting to mix it up towards the top of the league!

Dundee's first win against Celtic at Dens Park since 1988!

Ethan Hamilton playing for Dundee now, didn't know he'd left Lincoln, got a 3 year deal.  Also didn't realise he was Scottish, makes it even more puzzling how he was ever at Man U.

He played youth football at Hutchison Vale which is where Darren Fletcher played (and possibly Michael Stewart as another Edinburgh player who started at Man Utd) so would expect it’s a case of having the right contacts for trials etc.

Liverpool fouls just don’t get given

Lad I go to game with did the opposite went over to Arizona to go to Uni.

He still supports Bolton so avoided the shit team option.

Amorim has bought some more credit with Scum fans today even though it was a scruffy win. I said before I think he that unfortunately, he will come good for Manure but I don’t think it will properly happen for some time yet, but he’s bought himself time to develop his young signings. Liverpool are in a bit of a mess.

That Stretford v Bin Dippers was like a bunch of kids trying ever so hard but being really quite shite. Stretford were slightly less shite.

If a scout turned up he'd think Saha had won a raffle to get a game.

regarding time wasting, it happened today when Casemiro went down supposedly injured after fouling a Liverpool player, as every other team does he wasted a minute on the floor then was substituted, therefore no sanction of having to leave the pitch for 30 seconds, the player replacing him should therefore have to wait 30 seconds before he is allowed on-IMO

Amusing on R5 after the game

Slot doesn't know what he was doing and it was Klopp's team that won the PL last season

Missed out on a nice treble today, £5 on Dundee, Villa and Utd winning would've returned £1,100-ish.

That Villa winner was ridiculous.

Time has caught up with him. That blistering pace has gone and he's trying too hard as a result.

He did well to hold out for that massive contract this summer but he's done at elite level

Saha? He retired in 2013

I don't really take any notice.
