That lob effort from Toby Ritchie from 60 yards was sensational. Hit the woodwork 3 times in that 20 minutes!

They are 5th in the Prem U18 (south) league at the moment.  Level on points with Chelsea and a point ahead of Arsenal.  Will need a mighty effort.

I only have a handful of mates from North of the border and to a man they all love the banter and the insults and revel in giving it back.           The point I was making was when we lose they fucking can't wait to gloat but they fuck up I greet my deep fried friends as usual .....it really does irk them you know.

      And for what its worth I have a Scottish friend who I have been to stay with many times and my honorary title amongst his friends is ' Dirty English bastard', which i happily accept as a term of affection.

I agree. The gloating is tedious come the World Cup.

 But I’m delighted for them, we just don’t get the same buzz from the qualifiers. It has been some campaign to witness up here. Felt like Saturday morning today.

no chance of all 5 teams in WC, but even though it's a potential final vs Italy, it'll be an home game for Wales, same for Ireland too if they can get through the semi which is possible if they can beat Portugal at home and Hungary away recently, if I were there fans I'd want these playoffs asap and not have them on my mind for 4 months.

Wierd for Denmark that they were about 2 minutes from the world cup and now they've got 4 months to wait before they can plan, or move on.  That defender that sliced the ball perfectly to Tierney on the edge of the box when he could have done anything else with it and they'd be through 🙄

And FWIW surely the play off final should be on neutral territory, god knows how Wales get home advantage v Italy for eg

Yeah it's unfair and shouldn't be decided by the 'luck of the draw', just play it in a neutral country.

On another note, that international break means no game on 28th March assuming no injuries for Sheehan, Toal, Forino.  It could be rearranged for any number of free midweek dates in Feb and March.

But no, let's wait till about 20th March to cancel it, then shoehorn it into a couple of remaining (currently) midweeks in April.  A decent chance Cardiff will get postponed too if either of us in cup final.

Moan over, 4 whole months of no internationals.

We love to moan about everything that may or may not happen, don't we?

People said same about Qatar and that was decent, this World Cup is expanded and some brand new teams in it like Haiti, I'm looking forward to it (not as much as I was when I thought GTA 6 was coming out then also before they delayed it lol) 

just hope the heat doesn't hinder England too much, will be many games a day into the early hours.

yeah you're right, not seen them myself, quite an achievement given they can't play at home given the trouble, World Cup gives you a chance to see your nation come against the best but also new teams you'll likely not play again for some time if ever, be boring if we come up against an home nation in the groups, I don't like the build up to the tournament being heavily focused on that match.
