DomRepWanderer Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Fuck that, if Arry became Bolton manager he would make Megson look like Mr popular. Quote
Guest Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Well, he hasn't been sacked. So panic over for now. Quote
mike30 Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Might put your mind at rest a little. I tweeted Derek Mcgregor - footy writer for the Scottish Sun this is what he said He loves everything about it Mike. Really appreciates the fans. As content as I've ever seen him. Certain he'll do very well. Hope he's right Quote
Guest Blixa Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Well, he hasn't been sacked. So panic over for now. Problem they have is not sacking him before the window ended. Not a lot of movement for a new man now - unless you are a Pulis type with an effective system or two up your sleeve to compensate for the lack of talent. Quote
no balls Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Maybe he's just been sectioned as I suspected. Quote
jonnycooper Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 MOTD just confirmed Pearson has not been sacked!!!! PHEWWWWWWW,!! Quote
gonzo Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Maybe he's just been sectioned as I suspected. I reckon he's done his family in with a carving knife. Quote
COYW Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 I've postponed the all-day vigil i was planning outside the Macron tomorrow. Quote

jayjayoghani Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Let's see if gartside only giving lennon a rolling contract is yet another fuck up His contract until 2017 Quote
Breightmet Boy Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 His contract until 2017 Not much to pay up then, but he may have the odd escape clause too Quote
land_and_sea Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Lennon would never leave right now. It would be a huge mistake and he knows it. Quote
Zulu Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Nobody will save Leicester City from the drop this season - mark my words. So, unless Lenny fancies getting them promoted next season rather than us, why would he move? I know. It's football and normal rules of logic do not apply. Quote

onlyoneawalker Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Panic over for now it would seem but if Leicester offer him the job he'd take it IMO Quote
Ratwhite Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Lennon WILL leave, a matter of when rather than if. Quote
Sweep Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Let's see if gartside only giving lennon a rolling contract is yet another fuck up Even though he's not on a rolling contract...... Quote
Traf Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 It's the usual 2+2=5 WW hype, conjecture and bullshit. I'm hoping that Lennon does leave us in the future. This means he'll have done well enough here to have grabbed the attention of what he perceives to be a better place to work. It will also mean we haven't been shit as we had been under Lee, Megson, Coyle & Freedman, who all had to be sacked. Quote
COYW Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Nobody will save Leicester City from the drop this season - mark my words. So, unless Lenny fancies getting them promoted next season rather than us, why would he move? Because he'd have a bigger transfer budget for one. If they are relegated they'll be one of the favourites to go straight back up for another. Quote
Guest Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Because he'd have a bigger transfer budget for one. If they are relegated they'll be one of the favourites to go straight back up for another. Isn't a guarantee though. And given the Leicester owners don't exactly seem to know what they're doing. Personally I think Leicester is a bad career move for Lennon right now. And were it Hull or Burnley for example I'm pretty sure he'd turn it down for that reason. But Leicester is tricky because of his ties to the club. For that reason only I think it is a worry. However, the longer Leicester leave Pearson in charge the better for us, because I think him moving once they are definitely relegated will be far less likely. Quote
COYW Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Isn't a guarantee though. And given the Leicester owners don't exactly seem to know what they're doing. Nor is staying here. The Leicester owners have stuck with Pearson through thick and thin, so any manager knows they're going to get time to do the job. Quote
Guest Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Nor is staying here. The Leicester owners have stuck with Pearson through thick and thin, so any manager knows they're going to get time to do the job. No. But we gave him a chance when others wouldn't. Moving too much and too soon can kill a managers career dead. I'm hoping that the Scottish Journalist who knows Lennon is right when he says Leicester sounded him out on the quiet and he said no. If so that might explain why Pearson is still in a job? Can't get a replacement? Quote
COYW Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Last week we were in a 'relegation battle'. This week our manager might be leaving for a position that isn't even vacant yet. What next? Quote
