Well the colour kept rolling a touch when she re-spotted it, so a tiny divot in the cloth. 

Maybe she'd done a bit of modelling in a Tony Knowles style photo shoot, and a nip had left an impression.

Always made me wonder why a black self-adhesive spot was used. I get that any movement of the baize would alter the positioning of the colour-spots and so they can be peeled off and repositioned but the two tables at the Crucible are re-covered 11 times over the course of the championship. They could be felt-tipped on so balls can’t roll off.

Not sure how I feel about lads that are still in the tournament doing commentary/punditry on other games.

Seemed a bizarre situation to me last night when Judd Trump won his game then found himself being "interviewed" by Sean Murphy in the studio right after it, who he will be playing in the next round.

Way the draw has gone that looked the most dangerous match for him all tournament - sure he'll go and muck up now against someone easier now I've said that, but despite whooping him this year Murphy has had a habit of pulling out unplayable performances against Trump in the past.

Murphy nearly did it again then, lucky he didn't start like that, catch him on the wrong streak and he can knock anyone out
