MickyD Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 (edited) What a shit thread. Another club kicks a manager out and a new thread appears with no substance, just as the Leicester City thread has none. Edited February 12, 2015 by MickyD Quote
L/H White Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 I think we have to live with the fact that Lenny will be linked with most vacancies now. Â I'd like to think we'll have him for a couple of seasons. Â Does Lenny have kids? Quote
gonzo Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 They should go for Big Sam in the summer. Pretty sure Sam is out of contract in summer too. Â If they could get him go for David Moyes. Â They need a short term fix to simply keep em up in the meantime. Quote

Another club kicks a manager out and a new thread appears with no substance, just as the Leicester City thread has none.maybe, buts that's the nature of the beast of having Neil Lennon as our manager and the job he has done since he came here, so every biggish club that loses it's manager Neil will be mentioned and villa are quite a biggish club, bigger than west brom,Leicester and palace Quote
MickyD Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 I've been watching Bolton for 41 years. The nearest any manager has come to that length of time is the red nosed jock from old Trafford. I'll still be here when Lennon is a faded memory. ToTop and bottom is, they don't stick around much. One thing for sure, there's an endless supply of managers. Some turn out to be good, some don't. With this guy, there are still those who would rather see him go despite his obvious talent. He'll always be linked with other parts with better clubs. What difference does it make? Quote
davidjack Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Are there really people who'd rather see him go? Actual fans? Quote
GeorgeOghani'sIroningBoard Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Plenty of out of work deadbeats with a Villa connection to choose from..............  Ron Atkinson David O'Leary John Gregory George Graham Alan Curbishley  Doomed! Quote
Guest Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Are there really people who'd rather see him go? Actual fans? Â I very much doubt it. Quote

Guest Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Do you doubt it? I certainly don't. Â Yes. I've not heard a single fan express anything other than admiration for him since he started turning us round. At the game, anywhere. Nobody has come close to criticizing him let alone wishing he was gone. I'd bet if you picked out 1000 fans at random on Saturday at the game and asked them, not one, not a single one would want Neil Lennon to leave Bolton Wanderers. Quote
wanderers63 Posted February 12, 2015 Author Posted February 12, 2015 Sean dyche would be ideal there wouldn't need to change his tie Quote
MalcolmW Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 If Villa do go down it will ram home to American investors that there is a downside risk to investing in English football. Â Relegation is for real and getting back is no walkover. Quote
